Scenic trail - Puerto Rico

Went this Sunday to a trail I love with a few Broncos & Bronco Sports. The trail is somewhat challenging for Bronco Sports but all of them were modded, and they all made it in one piece.

What I love about this trail is how scenic it is. You start at the side of a Bay until you get some altitude and see the whole bay, then you start descending until you make it to a relaxing beach with very gentle waves, great for your kids to play while you pop some beers and grill some meats with the crew.

I usually don't post my Social media accounts here but I'll make an exemption for this (Shameless plug: please follow me!!!!)

Some pictures are my own, but the closeup ones were taken by this guy, a fellow Bronco Sport owner who joined us during our trip.

Haven't noticed that, but at least mine were off. I guess some people don't use theirs a lot and were looking for a excuse to use them? hahaha

Only been to Puerto Rico once for a conference. Can you rent trail capable (so more then just absolute base models with street tires) Bronco's, or at least Jeep's I wonder?

Yes, I know at least of one company called "vive la van" that rents Broncos with tent so you can Overland with them.

I'm pretty sure my absolute base would make it over that trail.

Absolutely gorgeous thanks for sharing. Been to PR a few times, beautiful place with nice people.

Nice pics. I’m from the island. I haven’t been there since the passing of my dad but I remember there are beautiful locations. Where was this one? Pardon me if you mentioned it but I don’t seem to find it here.

Is that over by Heaven beach? I used to go to PR for work a lot and took a rental wrangler there more than once. Interestingly enough, back in 2009 - 2011 or so all the rental cars were white jeep wranglers. Stood out quite a bit.
Beautiful looking ride. I always loved the drive from san juan to salinas and ponce as the ride through the mountains was amazing.

I'm sure it could, but many people want a few more creature comforts and bells & whistles than a base model offers.

Great turnout, you even let the little baby brother Bronco sport hang with ya. Haha

South west of the island. Perfect place to be away from the tourist traps.
