Took delivery on February 1 of a Badlands SAS 2.7. We started calling it the Flying Saucer since people are still asking us about it and taking pictures as we are driving around. My wife and I say, "we would get less attention if we drove a flying saucer".

Other than some minor items (antenna, grab handles, fender badge, black Bronco rear emblem) the first thing we did was a set of Icon wheels:

Next was a complete stereo build. Pulled the factory speakers and installed a complete system with DSP, amp, sub and new speakers. If anyone is considering upgrading their stereo and is local to Minneapolis, happy to help or let anyone listen to what I did. Link to the build here:

Added a stripe kit and changed the wheels to VenomRex VR-601s.

Installed Rigid pod lights:

Added a front bar and KC lights:

Ford Bronco The Flying Saucer Badlands Build side far

Ford Bronco The Flying Saucer Badlands Build side low

Element Fire Extinguisher

Finally, a set of floor lights from Amazon. Change the color to mix things up:

Ford Bronco The Flying Saucer Badlands Build purple inside
Ford Bronco The Flying Saucer Badlands Build red inside
Ford Bronco The Flying Saucer Badlands Build green inside

I will likely do an exhaust system and maybe some other engine work, but otherwise I have things where I want them for now.

Where is the stripe kit from? Great build, you practically ARE driving a flying saucer with those interior lights!

I used these ones:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OU5LOT2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

It was pretty simple to connect.

I connected the Aux 6 wire to the one that comes out behind the glove box. The unit comes with a wire connection that looks like you can just wire it in, don't use it. Cut the plug off the power wire for the 12V cigarette lighter connection. Connect the (+) to the aux line and connect the (-) to a ground bolt in the passenger footwell near the speaker.

The main box for the unit can fit under the center console near the cup holders and the wires branch out from there. I used zip ties to secure the led strips in the front footwells and under the rear of the front seats.

The stripes are from Underground Graphics. I watched their install video a couple of times before putting them on. Pretty easy if you take your time and are careful. The material is really good quality and goes on super smooth.

I'm also planning to mount an Element extinguisher in that location, but I haven't seen that particular mount before. Where did you find it?
