Just put on the Fox race series coil-over on by 2023 wildtrak with RPG custom powder coated upper arms. these things are beautiful. Also Added (not pictured) Toyo Mt 37 12.5 17 on Icon rebounds. Have some rubbing on the rear lock, left and right, but none on the front lock out. Going to take them off and add a 1/2" = 1" more lift to see if that will help. if not eliminating the plastic wheel line carrier. Have not taken it off road with this set up and most likely won't until we get back from SEMA. Can't wait to try them out.

Rest of build:
Icon rebound wheels
Toyo MT 37 12.5 17
ARB compressor piped to front bumper
Rock Slide
Baja Design XL light bar
Baja Design squadron pillar lights
Moreflat

You don’t wanna go out and prove them before you recommend people buy em?
Let’s see some hard core desert speed stuff, jumps and flexing!
Looks like a solid set, can’t wait for true feedback on ride on-road and off! Following in the hopes we get some good feedback with video and photos of them being used! Stoked for ya! And a little bit jealous haha

Please note I am not recommending anything at this point. I am only sponsored by my visa and my wifes paycheck.....lol.

I need to do some more adjustments and make sure that i am not going to tear off a fender before i go out to the trails. But please be assured that there will be follow up when i get to that point.

I wasn't floored by the difference but it does ride better than stock (I have a pre HOSS 3.0 Wildtrak) biggest plus to me is the adjustability. I think that the ride is truly in between HOSS 3.0 and 4.0, definitely HOSS 3.5 in my opinion.

@langster Did you adjust preload at all or run them as they came? I have yet to install mine and was curious about this. Fox suggests no more than 1/2in preload adjustment before going to heavier springs.

Also where did you set both compression values (how many clicks from zero)? Thank you

Dom, I installed them as they came out of the box without preload. I wish I would have adjusted them before putting them on, because they have to come out to be adjusted. After they settled, the front looks to be approx. 1" lower than the rear. So, I am going to adjust those only at this time. The 1/2" will give approx. 1 inch to the wheel which looks like that will make it level.

Couple of things I would suggest to you is:
1. Before installation, rotate the preload collar so the allen lock bolt is accessible after the coils are on the car. Fox suggests that if you are going to adjust them, to remove them, use a spring compressor to adjust. But if you have the lock bolt accessible, it could be done on the vehicle.
2. Fox says the DSC are calibrated. However I found that each one was set at different calibrations. So i would check them. I Zero'd them out, which is the softest setting and will start from there. i will say that when i had 35 on it was decent. Now that i put 37 on the front at 0 is ok but i think i am going to increase it to 1 low 2 high. the rear seems a little loose and will go to 3.5 to start. Once i get the onroad figured out, then start all over in the dirt and rocks.

I spoke to Fox about the speed adjustment values. He told me that 3 clicks out is a good start. He personally has set to 4 clicks for both. I also inquired about adjusting preload onboard. He suggested against it but that was more liability speak. He said since the body is aluminum, it could gaul. Personally I would try the adjustment onboard. I'm surprised your front was an inch lower with the stock bumper installed vs. aftermarket. I'll have to look out for that. I am currently waiting for UCAs. Did you do the install yourself? I plan on doing a driveway install. Thanks for your perspective and info.

I had rubbing in the rear after RPG UCA’s as well. I had to remove the UCA and thread them in a turn.

I would agree, the ride difference is not as noticeable as I would have thought. I had the Hoss 3.0 on my bronco and about 10k miles they started to soften up quite a bit and the body roll was getting more noticeable.

The one thing I noticed about the race series is how they make the vehicle feel much more plated. You can feel it in the steering wheel. Adjustability was Key for me. But I will say if someone had come out with heavier springs for the Hoss, these must likely would not made the build. Not that they are not bad ass, but the price point hurts just a little. I just wanted more lift, and did not want to run spacers, or purge collars etc. But I am happy I bought them and hope to give more positive feedback as I put more miles on them.

Did you remove / delete the plastic fender liner bracket? Or just the adjustment do the trick?

Adjustment did the trick. I was prepared to remove the plastic behind the liner but just did one thing at a time :). This also helped me to not be maxed out on my camber and have some adjustment left.

Where did you start from before you threaded in. I was told by RPG four full turns out from completely in

I honestly didnt count the turns initially. I just tried to match up with the stock UCA as much as possible.
