35x12.5 is not a 'move up'. It is the same size as the 315/70R17

315 Goodyear Duratrac is 34.4 x 12.7
35x12.5 BF Goodrich K02 is 34.5 x 12.5
Depends on the tire... Ridge grapplers are 34.7 vs 34.4, others are closer to 35. It's not a big enough difference to matter, but I doubt we can fit 37s.

37s will not fit on stock tire rack. At a minimum you will need a aftermarket rear bumper, 3rd brake light, etc..

What is the estimated difference in mpg beteeen 33 and 35s, assuming you got correct gearing for each situation? Difference if you don’t regear for 35s? I read gearing makes all the difference.

I know I’m gonna get, if you care about MPG you shouldn’t get big tires. Not that I’m trying to set a record, just curious...

I know this is the answer you're trying to avoid, but bear with me.

On my current Tacoma, I checked the mpg several times after buying it. Then, I added lockers, bigger tires, lower gears, changed suspension, etc. I have no idea what it gets now. I think if I did know, I would enjoy driving it less. I just fill it up when it gets low and don't worry about it.

The base mpg probably won't be great. The bigger tires, lower gears aren't going to help. It won't be good. The better it is off road, the worse it will be on road. I'd guess the squatch package will lose 2-3mpg at least. Bigger tires have greater surface area and more rotational mass.

I definitely want to move up to at least 35x12.5 tires when the stock 315s wear out...I would think these should fit no problem on a stock bronco (obv Sasquatch).
You will move up nominally in height, depending on brand, you will move up a lot in weight and down in MPG with an E rated tire.

@395N There was also a really good picture of both this Bronco and the 4 door Cactus Grey one that I saw. It showed a really good perspective on the different size between the two. However I can’t seem to find it ?‍♂

There’s just some question about whether the 4 door has 33s or 35s lol.
Is this the one you are talking about?

No but thanks. There was one specific shot from down low that you could see the differences in tire size.

However, since then the tire sizes for these prototypes have been confirmed. 37s on 2door, 35s on 4door. ?

While I am entertaining the option to run 37's, I would not be hanging a 37 off the back. Too much weight jostling around back there. I'm kind of curious as how well the tire carrier will hold up with a 35 on there.?

Aftermarket will solve the swing gate plate for 37's.

Eventually, but the question is how many & who's (as in which members here) going to pay the price before it's realized as a problem & hopefully fixed the 1st time around

Going to run the same Toyo Open Country MT 37s / Method Grid combo as my Raptor on a 2 DR Cactus Badlands.. Took minimal effort and no trimming to get them on (Geiser progressive springs)
