Nice! Might go this route and fab the attachments. Hows the powdercoat and hardware been holding up on that Allied Ex tailgate plate?Installed usb power points on dash
And drilled an tapped my cheap Allied Expedition tailgate reinforcing plate for Hammer bilt can holder and mounted water and fuel cansโฆ
Bummer. Theyโre fairly local to me and really like the no logo version you have and the tabs on topโฆand the price of course! Not wellโฆzoom inโฆ
Do the panels screw into the plastic at the bottom? Also, if you are in TN, SCE is next month (April 17-21). You would find a buyer for the extra driver's side panel .Builtright MOLLE panels, Iโm still figuring out my gear placement. I ended up with an extra driver side 2 door panel if anyone is looking for a deal pm me. Also added some rock worx bits.

Are those light switches next to the rock word bits?Builtright MOLLE panels, Iโm still figuring out my gear placement. I ended up with an extra driver side 2 door panel if anyone is looking for a deal pm me. Also added some rock worx bits.
Yes I was playing around with how much those cheap leds would illuminate the rear. Are those light switches next to the rock word bits?
I've been working on a similar setup for my Wildtrak...Does your design attach to a roof rack or some other way to lift the top?I rebuilt the rack for my roof hoist, the first one was too cumbersome, and weighed way more than it needed to. I also mitered the corners so the outside joining 90s could go on the outside and "smooth" out the corners. I also removed the dual picking struts and just put one down the middle short way resulting in a stiffer rack and more ability to fine tune the balance points.
The center pick point is pretty well balanced now. Just waiting for a new set of attachment hooks since the first set were way too heavy duty and had too much of a hook to them. Trying to get hooks/brackets more like the roof rack attachment clamps. The last pic is the old design.
Once it's all done I'm gonna paint the floating shelf struts on the ceiling white to blend and then use spray plasti-dip black on the rack.
Yes mine attached to the roof rack notches on the rear clamshell section of the top. If you look at the photos you can see where the hooks grab. I will caveat this by saying I had to get the hooks modified for a larger angle opening to get them to work the way I wanted and it was not easy finding someone with a 20ton press to make it happen...and even then he wouldn't go wider as it began to stress his machine. But it works great!I've been working on a similar setup for my Wildtrak...Does your design attach to a roof rack or some other way to lift the top?
