Same here.Ford just had a sale on their accessories, so I got mine for $453 after tax and shipping and cashing in my ford points.
I did get one from lethal performance , they offered a discount code … it still wasn’t as cheap as under $500 , but I didn’t use any ford points. Gonna use those for install at dealer , but I’m still looking for some one cheaper … this place says $300 for install, which is highway robbery , but haven’t found any one else in SE Wisconsin / etc area as of yet ….Same here.
I have a guy in Eastern Missouri, who will do it for 50 bucks. He asked for 30 but I felt guilty so I gave him a 50 spot. He is certified so the warranty is intact.I did get one from lethal performance , they offered a discount code … it still wasn’t as cheap as under $500 , but I didn’t use any ford points. The $825 procal for $453????Ford just had a sale on their accessories, so I got mine for $453 after tax and shipping and cashing in my ford points.
Take note, he said he cashed in his FordPass points, so he gave himself a discount on top of Fords normal % they give on their website. The $825 procal for $453????
Ahh, I stopped reading after $453 plus tax. I’m hoarding all of my points.Take note, he said he cashed in his FordPass points, so he gave himself a discount on top of Fords normal % they give on their website.
Just do it yourself! I don't get the fear folks have with this. It's a Ford product and I haven't heard a single instance of an issue with the tune. It's a crime for a dealer to charge that much for 15 min to install. You can't screw it up!I found a ford dealer about 30 min away & it’s down to $235 … so better than $300 & 1.5 hours each way.
It’s not about the tune having issues. More or less about the bronco having issues then the dealer voiding out your warranty because it wasn’t installed by an ASE cert tech.Just do it yourself! Again, I have not heard of a single report of Bronco issues due to it being installed. If it eases your mind go for it - I think it's silly, but it's your decision and I fault no one for spending their $$ as they see fit. It’s not about the tune having issues.
