6.5” Rear Speaker Pods by Mabett

A few months back I started working with Jason (founder of @Mabett).

We started working on replacements for the rear speaker pods and earlier this week I received the finish product!

Needless to say they are excellent quality! I highly recommend you keep these in mind. They will be available on Amazon soon along with many of his other products!

Can you give dimensions? Interested to see if they fit with the DV8 rear speaker light mount bar I have.

Hey brother! I don’t have pricing unfortunately. However I also have the DV8 bar and JL speakers attached to it. I’ll let you know if it all fits once I get a chance to install these

FYI- MTI’s do not fit with the bar. So this would be a nice addition.

Does anyone know if the 6.5" speakers would be plug and play if you install them or would anything else be needed? Also is this for regular sound systems, lux, or both?

Might not be the right place for this but if I were looking to upgrade my sound system on a lux package, could I get away with just swapping some out of the speakers and adding bigger ones to these rear pods?

Thanks in advance, I'm not too familiar with upgrading sound systems.

Stock pods only house 4" speakers where these house 6.5"

I don't have my Bronco yet, but after reading about the lack luster sound system I was already thinking about something like this.

These look great, but without reflashing the sound system to send full range to the rear, will it make any real difference?

According to the "See All Buying Options" tab on Amazon (which I'm assuming is from Mabett, don't know who else it would be), it looks like they might be priced at $200. They may be less during the initial sale, though.
