I would think the Baja mode also uses vehicle yaw and tilt data to distribute engine power, maybe other modes do to.
I don't believe the bronco can "distribute engine power", at least in any way I would think of it.

Thats exactly what 4A does by engaging and disengaging the clutch.

It can go from 4wd to 2wd, yes.

It can't send different amounts of power forward and rear, or left to right.

This isn't perfect math but an idea
Truck makes 500hp
20% loss in drivetrain we have 400hp
now 2wd we have 200hp to each tire
now 4wd we have 100hp to each tire
now 4A I have on demand power distribution of 200hp to 100hp and 100hp to 200hp at all times.
Now being we have brakes if I want less HP to a tire to help with wheel spin all I have to do is add a little brake/let the computer do it based off wheel spin. Now I have another level of power distribution.

Also we can pull timing, cut cylinders on engine to lower or raise all numbers.

Power will take the path with the least amount of resistance so once the brake is added to a tire it will then move to the next closest tire it brake is added to it the next and so on. At the point a brake is added the math gets stupid.

Me. You are describing me.
I've only used 4wd once when stuck in beach sand in a rented jeep. I don't know when or where to use my different drives and at this point, I'm afraid to ask.
Don't be afraid to ask. I'm excited that the Bronco is opening up off-roading to people who never cared for it before.

To make it super simple for you:
If conditions gave you no troubles in a 2wd vehicle, leave it in 2wd.
If conditions gave you trouble/made it impassable in a 2wd vehicle, switch it to 4H or 4A.
If the conditions are such that you would never even make an attempt in a 2wd vehicle, switch it to 4L.

And as someone else mentioned, the GOAT modes are your friend. I didn't think I would use them much, having a manual and 4x4 experience but they're so simple, I love them.

I didn't say the Bronco system distributes engine power through (three) computer-controlled clutched differentials. But because the Bronco uses a stability control system that controls engine power via electronic throttle control and the ABS, which gets vehicle motion data from various on-board sensors, it essentially distributes engine power by braking individual wheels. BTW, so do AWD systems.
