I don't believe the bronco can "distribute engine power", at least in any way I would think of it.I would think the Baja mode also uses vehicle yaw and tilt data to distribute engine power, maybe other modes do to.

Thats exactly what 4A does by engaging and disengaging the clutch.I don't believe the bronco can "distribute engine power", at least in any way I would think of it.
It can go from 4wd to 2wd, yes.Thats exactly what 4A does by engaging and disengaging the clutch.
This isn't perfect math but an ideaIt can go from 4wd to 2wd, yes.
It can't send different amounts of power forward and rear, or left to right.
Don't be afraid to ask. I'm excited that the Bronco is opening up off-roading to people who never cared for it before.Me. You are describing me.
I've only used 4wd once when stuck in beach sand in a rented jeep. I don't know when or where to use my different drives and at this point, I'm afraid to ask.
I didn't say the Bronco system distributes engine power through (three) computer-controlled clutched differentials. But because the Bronco uses a stability control system that controls engine power via electronic throttle control and the ABS, which gets vehicle motion data from various on-board sensors, it essentially distributes engine power by braking individual wheels. BTW, so do AWD systems. It can go from 4wd to 2wd, yes.
