Other than a couple marks on factory skids and beauty rings, the Wildtrak performed flawlessly. I’m super impressed!

How was Schnebly? Is it chewed up badly or in fairly good shape?

From Sedona to the top is Rock Garden City lol. I was not expecting that. It wasn’t challenging, but from what I had read I was expecting a forest road. It’s not that haha. The top portion to/from the 17 is a completely different road and butter smooth.

I heard the local Jeep tour companies (Pink Jeep) asked that the portion of the road they use not be maintained anymore. I found crawl control to be awesome and fatigue saving on Schnebly.

BTW Foutz Motorsports makes some great skids and he is in Mesa. He won Baja numerous times, in a Raptor, I figure he knows his stuff.

I tried to get a couple rear shock and rear control arm skids from Foutz before the trip but they didn’t have them in stock. I’ll be purchasing from them for sure!

Great pictures, if you ever make it to the south east look up windrock... if it's rained prepare to get muddy... crawling muddy rocks is a balance of speed, and when necessary...skinny pedal. I will have to put this on my bucket offroad list.

Van Deren cabin is a great little drive. Super fun trail that didn’t get a lot of traffic, at least when we were there. Definitely a highlight of our Sedona trip. Glad you found it!

We did Schnebly too and it was…fatiguing, I guess. Definitely rough but not technical or difficult. Busy too but the views are incredible.
