I ran into a local on the way home and asked what the history was. I guess it was a couple's summer ranch. They would drive their cows up there from the low land in the summer. Since they didn't have any children, it was abandoned after they died. Interesting!Cool stuff. It's neat to imagine how places like that would have been in their hay day of operation
