I think I remember seeing something mentioned about unique number plates but don't remember where. Buddy at work sent this to me today. Stamford Ford in CT has 3 FEs for sale. 2 at 95, 1 at 100. The 100k has the following on the sticker...love it. I'm going to guess the rumor of Ford sending out new plates to FE owners with their numbers was laughable.

Would be nice if Levine would offer up his opinion on this nonsense.

Somewhere earlier in this thread (around mid-Nov)someone confirmed that the first 100 were "serialized". Another member came up with the plan to serialize the plate for any FE owner who wanted to have it done. He started another thread specific to that titled First Edition Badge VIN Project.

I'll be postponing that install for as long as possible. In Utah, it's a secondary offense - police can't stop you for not having a front license plate. But they can cite you for it if they pull you over for a different reason.

• 37” BF KO2 (36.4” really) I want to go with a smaller 37 to improve clearance. No rub so far.
• 17” Fuel Block D750 wheels (17x9 0 offset)
• 1” leveling kit (I want to go 1-2” higher but waiting for other options)
• Raptor painted the grille and flares. I hated how the FE had 8 different shades of black and didn’t like the shinny black anymore. I like the way the grille turned out so much that I plan to paint the mirrors too.
• Body match Bronco letters
• Hitch / wiring harness
• 40” light bar - FYI, the whistling was awful but I put weather stripping on the half of rear fan vents and it went away.
• Brake light extensor
• Spare tire relocation kit

Next:
Fog lights - they are on back order
Sliders / stirrups - waiting to see how these bolt on stirrups turn out but leaning towards sliders that double as steps.

Did you order the Ford hitch/harness and did you install yourself or have the dealer do it?

I must be one of the last FE's to get delivered but I finally got her today! Dealer honored the MSRP deal and everything went smoothly. Only drove a couple of miles because I needed to get back to work but it looks amazing and feels great going down the road. Already had it surrounded by people checking it out, which is fine, I just wish they would get their foreheads off the window (I'm going to need to carry a bottle of glass cleaner).

That's crazy. How do they build and deliver one and not fix and deliver a dirt mountain one first?

Is there any idea on how many First Edition reservations/orders will not be met and delivered? Since they aren't being made next year, what was the total number that were produced? Didn't Ford say they were going to make 7,000, or am I not remembering that correctly?
