Stupid question - has my Bronco even been ordered?

Hi all -

Stupid question of the day: has my Bronco even been ordered?

The dealership I'm working with insists it has but when I look at this 'order sheet', I'm not seeing any order number and the dealer isn't forthcoming with any additional information other than "There's a high chance you'll get it this year"... I have my doubts.

What specific information should I be asking the sales rep to see if it's ordered and what's the status (other than "Is it ordered?" and "What's the status?").

Feeling pretty frustrated with all this but if I have to wait I just wish they'd be up front with me.

Your order number is at the top of your page. It says Preview Order then and then there is a 4 digit/letter code. Yours looks like G559.

Yes, this sheet shows it is ordered. Sales Code + Order Code is your order info.

Your order #G559 @ Kearney Mesa Ford.. If you haven't got a confirmation email from Ford its not ordered.. When the preview order is flipped from concept to order you will get a confirmation email..

Not always true. I know plenty who aren’t getting Ford emails at all. It took me almost 3 weeks to get my email, but I could see my order on the Ford website.

Your order #G559 @ Kearney Mesa Ford.. If you haven't got a confirmation email from Ford its not ordered.. When the preview order is flipped from concept to order you will get a confirmation email..

Thanks. So - was there some sort of DB lookup that you found dealership? I'll keep my eyes peeled for a confirmation email but I remember hearing something about Ford not taking any more Bronco orders this year so I won't get my hopes up.

My bronco was built on 3/9 (not shipped). I’ve never received a single email from ford. Just FYI.

I didn't get anything when I ordered my 22 Mustang GT, but according "to my dealer" they don't do that for Canadian orders... no idea if it's legit or not.

Your dealer didn't place your email with the order when they flipped it to order.. Dealers are to place customers email and the salesman's email with orders so Ford can update customers Special Order and also your salesman of order progress...

You can contact Ford Customer Service and ask if the order was placed.
