2022 Wildtrak 4-door. My son is on spring break and wanted to hang out with his grandparents and so I dropped him off yesterday. I have roughly 1300 miles on the odometer. The 2.7 is a beast. No issues hitting 80mph and still has some grunt to pass.

2.3 Outerbanks Auto Advanced non-sas, only 350 miles in.
Lux package with standard wheels.
I average 19.8
Mostly in town driving, but on highway appears to be much higher
Normal mode and lead foot!
Same specs averaging about 19.2 for 8k miles, mostly in-town. It was about 19.6 through 5k miles but has since dropped. I think I am probably not babying it as much. :)

Black Diamond, non-sasquatch, 2.3 with bash plates and hard top -- I have been averaging around 16mpg. I keep it in Sport Mode 99% of the time, and my driving is mostly city so far.

I didnt buy my Bronco for the gas mileage, as Im thinking neither did anyone else on this thread. If that is a concern, maybe you should have bought a Tesla. ;-)

well here is a weird consideration on this subject.....

I have a 2.7 auto BD with mid package. Have owned it since December 1st and put about 5600 miles on it so far. I changed the oil at 3000 miles (for piece of mind, and it made a difference!) and have been averaging about 19 MPG (being conservative with this number, often it was more like 19.4)

So now that the winter broke, I have been putting on my Rakattach (swivel receiver in steel) and a 1UP 2 bike carrier (aluminum)

When I drive with the bike carrier on, my MPG drops to around 17.4, so about 2 MPG less and I am befuddled. The swivel and carrier combined weigh probably 60 lbs, so it can't be the weight and I am guessing is the increased wind flow disruption at the rear.

Any thoughts by one of you more experienced inmates?

You didn’t have to click on this thread either. And maybe we are just curious on gas mpg since gas is super high right now.

Any additional weight will lower your mpg. Having been a part of the hypermiling groups awhile back. It was a phase. Anyway. Decreasing weight was the first thing you do. Some guys would even throw out all the unnecessary seats and passenger stuff.

Other than my ’70 Chevelle SS 454 I had in the late 70’s, this is the only vehicle I’ve owned where I can get 15 mpg and be happier than a fly on shit.

19mpg over almost 8k miles.

'21 Wildtrak - so Sasquatch, 2.7, Automatic
I live in the country, so there isnt much city driving.
This includes trips to the mountains and the beach, including a few hours of driving on the beach.

700 miles in. Wildtrak 4 door all stock (Sasquatch 35's / 2.7) I am at 17.4. @50% two way pavement / 30% Highway / 20% muddy (tis the season in Vermont) back roads. Coming out of a 17 Raptor I am quite content at this point.
