Unscheduled-Clean status

I just got off the phone with Ford Customer Service and was told my secondary status is "unscheduled-clean". The phone rep said this means it will be build this year and I should have a VIN between end of August and end of September.

Should I be excited or is this just a way to get me off the phone without being mad?

Doesn’t mean anything other than you could be scheduled. That puts you in the same boat as 99% of the rest of people waiting to be scheduled.

Use the search function, plenty of info on what the status means and doesn't mean.

In fact, there are weakly threads on scheduling which touch on this. But only dating back to about 2020.

Unscheduled clean sounds like they built it but somebody unexpectedly puked in it, so they have to get an unscheduled cleaning.

For what it’s worth, I was told 2 weeks ago by Ford chat that my order was an Unscheduled Clean and I just got a scheduled production date today. I ordered a Wildtrak, 4door, 2.7, MIC, Lux from a small town dealer. Extremely surprised I got scheduled this year.

Total assumption, your vehicle order has yet to be scheduled, however, the model and the options you selected are “ clean” or not a hinderance to scheduling and build. Lining up the VINs they can produce before the model year switch. Again, just a guess.

Never inferred that... just means it could be scheduled- almost everyone waiting has this same status.

I was told I was Unscheduled Clean about a month ago and have not been given a build date or VIN yet. I was extremely disappointed today.

I called 1-800-392-3673. Very friendly and helpful. You will need your order code # and sales code #. Once I was off hold it took 5-minutes to get the info I was looking for.
