My wife, my youngest daughter and I went for a mini trail ride today. First real run for us. We went to the Yucca Pens in North Cape Coral/South Charlotte County, FL Today. I haven’t been out there since 1999. Decent sand runs, some small water holes and flag ponds. Only crossed water when we had to, nothing deep. A lot of trails were tight so I didn’t attempt for the sake of no new pin stripes. Others were still Hurricane Ian damaged and I don’t really know the trails. Pretty much flat where we were at which was a bummer. Pretty fun none the less.
We stopped, after about two hours of exploring, set up our little area to chill. We grilled burgers and dogs, had a couple cold ones. Didn’t see but one UTV, and one truck who stopped to chat and check out the Bronco. He mentioned he hadn’t been out there since 2000 ironically.
My wife had a blast, my daughter who had been bugging us for the last few days was laughing and having a blast the first hour. The Bronco is fun. Went thru some sticky mud and semi deep water holes and crept thru all of it. Never had a slip or anything. Use 4L once with the front locked. Sand setting is fun, very peppy compared to Baja and Mud/Ruts.
I wish the front camera was active in all off road settings. We didn’t get too many pics because we hardly stopped. Only to break a few branches here and there. After we packed up we rode around for about another hour. I have to locate some other areas To expand our experiences further. Lazy Springs a little further south will be our next stop in FL. Hopefully we can find a few winter trails near Banner Elk, NC in a few weeks when we go for our winter vacation. Suggestions welcomed.

Short vid, small hole this trail had a few of. Probably went a little fast. Vid cut out at end because car play connected
