Damn, I vowed never to buy another silver or grey vehicle again. That silver color looks great though and just made it on my top 3....I am farther than ever from choosing a color now

are these gunna be all manual sasquatch? levine said these are just more testing units...how many more testing units are necessary before they send mannequins to dealerships?
...It takes thousands of parts to build a vehicle....in motion..maybe 55 units a hour...you want to have the workers learn a no frills training session on your Bronco...I don't think you do....it could take weeks to get this line moving at any speed...

Can someone with knowledge of the production process explain why the hood would be attached during production and not just added after the engine work is completed? Seems like an unnecessary hazard for the workers.
Remember, these are body on frame so the body can be assembled and then placed over the frame with the engine mounted on the frame. They simply drop the assembled body on top of the frame do there is little to "work under the hood".

Could be reading too far into it because there’s a glare and part of the picture is blurred, but that MIC top in the second to last pic looks distinctly more dark than previous MIC tops we’ve seen.
I’ve collected a dozen photos of that MIC Carbonized Gray top and they all look as different as AMB does from whatever angle or light source is hitting it. I’m confident it will look fantastic combined with AMB, Carbonized Gray grill and BL Optional Carbonized Gray/Black wheels.

I understand the purpose, but i have never seen them so visible ..... now why do you need two of them? i thought those were speaker housings cuz they are identical on both sides .... also, i haven't seen them on most of the test vehicles .... why do some test vehicles have them and some don't? don't u want to protect ur ear drums on ALL vehicles?
all the test vehicles aren't built up exactly the same because they are testing different things on each vehicle. some could be set up for a head on collision, side impact collision, rollover, rear end.....etc.....

that's because they all ARE DIFFERENT. Original pre-pro MIC tops were fabricated in Germany...since moved to USA. Early ones were black....later ones seem to be a medium grey

Preproduction photos from BN taken at Michigan Assembly Plant

While these are still early pre-production units, they represent a major leap forward as they are the first Broncos to be assembled on the production line. To date, the other Broncos seen on the road have been hand built prototypes.

As we anticipate full production of the new Bronco starting next year, Ford has begun testing the assembly line tools to ensure a seamless production process, bringing us one step closer to the real deal.

The grey primer (or whatever the grey is) looks really good with the cyber orange.

Whatever was behind the silver one had gas struts. Hood looked different than the Bronco's tho.
Base gets prop rod, others get struts.

Just made that up..

Haha

All I know is, after about 150k miles, the gas struts will suddenly go out on a cold day and fail to hold the hood up and slam you in the back of the head. Not fun. Hood props work forever and won’t “let you down”. I’ll take a hood prop.

One of the first mods I did to my Mustang was install the Ford Performance hood strut kit. The hood flexed so much when closing it I removed them and reinstalled the prop rod. I'm good with the prop rod. K.I.S.S.

My 1962 Cadillac has these crazy giant springs that keep the hood up. I've never trusted them... but then again they've never let me down, either...

Gotta go with BronCo on this one....it was in one of the links posted here...I have read about 4200 of them, so can't remember which...but it said something about this being the first vehicle Ford has not put the blue oval on, instead going with simply the Bronco logo...or some such rubbish.

May not have had any merit, but I do remember reading it, so BronCo is not nuts... ( or we both are)

I know , this post is useless without a link...but there ya' go
I remember seeing it, too. No Ford emblem because Bronco was it's own line... The only FORD was on the pull out tailgate....

What no one has mentioned yet on this thread is that the primary reason why these things look so good is because they don't have the stupid plastic fender flares on them yet.
Ford Bronco Photos of pre-production Broncos on the assembly line. 1600868917284

Which is why I can't wait to see what solution they will have for a flare delete to cover up the holes in the fenders.
