The crazy market is finally normalizing.
  1. The lowest price Raptor just sold for $80k on Bring a Trailer. It was a '22 EG with 10k miles. MSRP was $80k. The pricing history/trend made sense less the very odd behavior in the prior 3-4 months. See chart. Also, for those not familiar, an auction at this price has $5k in BaT fees added to be paid by buyer.
  2. There are now almost 900 new Raptors and about 250 used on AutoTrader. The lowest
  3. Obviously borrowing is also expensive now.
  4. Price reductions for used Raptors (as you can see on cars.com) like the one below are common - on the market for 3+ months, $10k in steady, incremental price drops.
Who is actively in the market? Who is strategically waiting for further softening?

I thought of you when I saw the BAT final sale price. I guess the blue seats with the green paint was not popular. I am interested in what the Code Orange 22 with less than 90 miles goes for next week, no reserve.

That one had 10k miles on it, going for $80k doesn't seem that unreasonable to me. Although I absolutely love that green (not loving the blue interior though).

With that said, it does seem like their prices are normalizing. Looking at the numbers swamp2 posted, it sounds like supply is meeting or even exceeding demand.

Some of the dealers near me that listed a price of $15k over are now down to $5k over on their website. One of them that originally wanted like $15k over when I inquired a month or so ago, just sent me an email offer for MSRP.

Now do that chart, but for Ford dealerships and their insane markups...
Would be great to have any data. Local San Diego ones are still being marked up around $20k. I think the number of folks willing and able at that price point are dropping rapidly though.

So, you are actively in the market now? Not sure I could stomach current MSRP. Mine is stuck on the line at MAP...

I saw MMR on a BRaptor back in late August and it was $94.9K which lines up with your chart and vaguely think I saw one more recent MMR around $89K which is below new MSRP.

Things will only get worse with regard to purchasing power in the next coming month and near years. Prices will normalize for sure. Crazy spending like the covid days is done. When people can't buy anymore, prices will meet demand.

Most in stock are msrp from what I see. One dealer 2k over msrp but they have been listed as that for 3 weeks so clearly not moving. Ford high price bubble on these has burst but I’m curious if they will discount 10k like on lightning flop or if they will simply stop making Braptor after next model yr? Stop being greedy Ford and bring these back to lower 70k starting price along with more realistic pricing on lower Bronco trims.

Most in stock Raptors are MSRP?

I wouldn't hold your breath on any Bronco price cuts, Raptor or not. Sure some select vehicles have had price cuts, but deflation in vehicle MSRPs is very rare.

Incentives are not.

Jeeps are HIGHLY incentivized. Wranglers and GCs can be had for 6-8% below MSRP plus the national/local rebate offers. Not uncommon to see $10K discounts.

Ford already provide fat discounts to the Mach-E and then threw even more to sell them a few days ago

My guess is Broncos are sitting on lots and will get incentives (but small) in 2024

24s are going to be expensive when the MSRP is near 100k. once 22/23s clear out prices are going to trend up specially since they are not building any during the strike.

I don't understand the BRaptor MSRP pricing. I can get a new F150 Raptor for less. The new Ranger Raptor is $20k+ less MSRP.

LOL I thought the post at first said "Insane" versus 'Sane". Either way prices of the Raptors are still insane to me- regardless.

Now just to wait till the raptor R's come down in 2024 to snag on of those.
