Roush intake

Biggest ripoff but still did it for the "looks". I can't tell the difference. I got a great deal from a forum member. But the "roush" badge adds 25 HP.

I mean I wouldn't mind seeing some numbers. I saw Sarah-N-Tuned recently install one and it at least looks like it would increase airflow substantially but I feel like the engine would just adjust.

these can be gotten for a lot cheaper than msrp. i got mine brand new for $200. i didn't expect any gains, i really just wanted the window, but yeah, don't pay list price for these!!

related question, anyone see where you can buy just the filter for these? I know they are cleanable, but after so many washes it would be nice to put a brand new one in. But I don't see the air filter itself available anywhere.

THere's a part number in the instructions, but with that said, i would think that any made for bronco filter would work just fine, no need to pay the Roush tax for just the filter. this "CAI" is just the lid and the filter, leaves the stock airbox alone

True, but it is shaped a bit different to get more surface area, I personally have the the Injen intake, but a friend of mine runs this and wants to replace the filter but have not been able to find it anywhere.

Wow - that is a great price. I'd take one for $200 for sure but I've been looking and haven't come across that. I even have an alert on eBay and nothing close to that. If you have any leads, I'm all ears!

I was really thinking about the Roush but although it looks good there is no gain in HP. Now I am rethinking the K & N, which there is supposed to be a gain in HP. It's probably worth the extra $$ and getting the K & N?
