Description
On your vehicle, the nut on the ball joint, which secures the front upper control arm to the knuckle assembly, may not have been installed or torqued to specification. This can result in separation of the front upper control arm from the knuckle assembly.
Safety Risk
Separation of the connection between the front upper control arm and knuckle assembly may result in a loss of directional control, increasing the risk of a crash.

I wasn’t told “do not drive”

Thankfully I only drive 6-15 miles of gravel on an average commuting day, and the potholes are nice and deep.

Quality doesn’t always mean what we think of as high quality.

It can mean a certain acceptable level of defects.

Ford just might have a higher number than someone like Honda.
