Front Axle Joint Damage

Not a nice view to the passenger side front axle joint after cca. 1200 km and 1 rather slight ride at muddy roads (4A, 4L). I did not even recognise it, fortunately the Bronco went to additional chassis protection, where the technician warned me. Ford will exchange the half-axle in warranty, the sad side of the story is, that I should wait up to 8 weeks for the replacement part. Does anyone have a similar experience? Bronco Badlands (NON Sas, EU version ), production date probably early 2023.

I think the majority of the cv shaft failures have been related to a lift that allows more droop than factory and thus taking the cv joint past an angle it’s designed to operate.

Yes this is what I read in the forum as well. But I did not do any lift, morénové I have the standard Badlands, not even SAS packet . So I do not know what happened. Is it worth to go for this: https://www.rcvperformance.com/ultimate-ifs-cv-axles-for-ford-bronco-with-m220-differential.html ?

I would replace the one with stock and not worry about it.

I was just browsing on Rock Auto to see what they had for replacement parts for the Bronco and they had axle shafts listed.......$3500.000 each. Yikes.
