So to clarify, this will not work for people with the Lux package and the BNO system you want to replace their crappy subwoofer and amp. Seems to me this would need new power.

What recommendations do you have for us 21 and 22 folks with the pocket panel and no sub from the factory?

I would start by finding a panel with the sub grill from a salvage vehicle.

Gearshade sells a grill cover for that spot if you don't want to hunt down the whole panel.

This is for the 23-24 Non-B&O, Non-Visteon Broncos who came with No Subwoofer. This will not work with your vehicle. We are trying to help those people out with those years who had no Sub so they can finally get the audio they are looking for. We make an add-a-sub kit if you are looking for more bass.

Correct this does not work with B&O systems or Lux package. The idea is to get those people with 23-24 year Broncos who did not come with a Sub a chance to finally add in the bass they are missing. The kit does come with an amp and all wiring and harnesses to complete the kit.

Ford made the 21-22 Broncos with the Sub and necessary wiring in the back, then with COVID there was a shortage of parts needed for the 23-24 models so they added in a Fake or nothing at all.

I believe Trail 7 offers some really good Plug-N-Play solutions, worth checking them out.

I have a 2021 with High package that only had the base 6-speaker setup and no wiring for a sub. I got the Gearshade enclosure with 8" Kicker and 500.1 amp (for 1/2 price from someone who was selling their Bronco). I also upgraded the other speakers and added the Kicker 200.4 amp (the Base speaker system had no amp - unlike the B&O). I used the Plug N Play wiring harness (made for exactly my configuration). It was easy to cut out the storage bin and add this speaker grill from Etsy. Don't let the fact that you have a storage bin keep you from making this upgrade!

I understand this is for a certain subset of Bronco owners.

Myself, I have a 22 Wildtrak LUX with the B&O. My OEM sub blew and i threw in a "comparable" sub with similar specs. Not impressed. I'd like to upgrade to a 10" sub but there's no way i would compromise my storage space for a sub. Most of us want an enclosure modeled after the stock enclosure that makes space for an 8" or a 10" sub as well as the necessary space for amp mounting. While I haven't searched, maybe this exists already; but if you guys haven't jumped on this you are definitely missing out.

I’m aware and have had this setup in one of my broncos. Some folks also don’t want a sub on the tailgate or have a table. There are other options out there like gear shade but this is one of the cleanest out based on the photos. So that solution may not work for everyone.

I was mostly pointing out that the company is kind of shooting themselves in the foot since they are cornering themselves in terms of opportunity since the factory sub-less broncos are within a specific window.

Understood the post. A decent amount with decent 8" in a high density enclosure should be great. Sound shop was raving about Kenwood loaded 8" enclosure out performing a ten enclosure. Amp is everything.
