Is there enough room for locking hitch pin? Looks pretty tight.

Hoping that the vehicles without tow package from the factory have the appropriate plug on the Bronco chassis so this can be added after delivery easier... Or the FE 4dr really can have the tow hitch from the factory.. It would also be interesting to know if the reverse lights/charge lead on the 7 pin are wired in. That is how I plan on triggering my reverse light additions.

I think I'll go aftermarket and with a steel bumper with hitch.

And this is definitely one reason why its tow rating is low. But man, I dont want an aftermarket heavier duty one sticking down any lower than that one is and I can already seeing me bash the heck iut of that one that doesn't look beefy. I wheel my rigs so departure angle is taken into account.

Well thats just stupid on jeep’s part then. I would have relocated the plug and tucked it up behind the bumper. Thats what I did to my LJ.

Wow. The steel plate on that looks really thin compared to the one on my Jeep. I am going to have to figure out a way to scale and measure this versus the Jeep.

I was already underwhelmed for the cost. Now even more.

(Edit) so the JK receiver on the right is 6mil steel, this has to be like 5 or 4? How is this going to hold up when dragging down rocks on the trail?
