I ordered a Badlands 4dr with SAS and LUX, 2.7, MIC top, MGV, in Race Red. How about you?

I’m surprised at the number of Lux packages, curious if it’s the updated B&O that made that choice.
Adaptive cruise control was mostly why added it, heated steering wheel and a few other things were just icing. There is too much ambient noise for fancy speakers to make that much difference in most vehicles.

I went to check out a 4-Door non-Sas Badlands at Ricart Ford (Columbus, OH) today. Quick observations:
1. Got to hear the B&O sound system finally. Truly the only reason I got Lux. It is solid. Real good. Not the best I've ever heard, and it surpasses my minimum requirements (I love to bump while crawling). I don't think I'd be happy with a lower quality sound system.
2. Got to play with the 7-speed manual shifter (engine off). Sweet, short throws. My father's Wrangler shifts like an 18-wheeler by comparison. I'm gonna love rowing through the gears in this.
3. Got to have the wife climb in (after scaling up into a Sas First Edition). She says she loves it and the overall dimensions/feel of the vehicle.

It's hard to believe it is nearly identical to my old FJ cruiser in size... it feels solid, compact (not small - muscular w/low BMI) and ready to rumble.

By the way, seeing it next to a Sas'd First Edition... Sas did nothing for me. Seems very superfluous. It is a tight, athletic truckasaurus w/o Sas. Can't wait to roll!
