Great shot this is helpful.Had these Rangers lined up last weekend when I got an oil change on the Edge. Cactus Gray, Iconic Silver, and Carbonized Gray.
I was 'all-in' on IS till my bride bought a Lincoln Corsair in the same exact color code. AMB unless I defer to '22If it were not for it being a solid color (or being mint in some lights) I think I'd give my beautiful, depth metallic Iconic for it.
I think we are at like 2% of the Bronco orders being Iconic. They just don’t know what they’re missing!Went back to the dealer today to update my order and found the Rangers lined up even better. CG, OW, CG, and IS.
My Jeep Rubicon was Silver....I’ve got a Black 4Runner now....mistake.....My fun car 2014 Corvette Z51 White....I‘m ready for my Silver Bronco 4 Door Badlands.I am reluctantly considering the silver. I say reluctantly because I see silver vehicles EVERYWHERE! My wife's Honda is silver and it is attractive and it handles heat and dirt very well.
Here are my Pros/Cons for Silver
Pros:
It contrasts well with the other items on the vehicle like trail sights, fender flares, roof, etc.
It will look ok if not washed recently.
It doesn't retain as much heat from the sun as darker colors do (My black Volvo is a furnace).
Cons:
So many vehicles are Silver.
It is not special or eye catching.
Just my thoughts!
Congrats on the Silver Badlands. I finally decided on the A51. I know what you mean about Black; my Volvo XC60 is black with black leather interior. It is a furnace in the summer. I will never again own a black vehicle. My Jeep Rubicon was Silver....I’ve got a Black 4Runner now....mistake.....My fun car 2014 Corvette Z51 White....I‘m ready for my Silver Bronco 4 Door Badlands.
Have you gone and seen Area 51 in person? I would make sure to do that. I saw it on a Bronco Sport and I was surprised how different it looked in person. Especially in the sun.Congrats on the Silver Badlands. I finally decided on the A51. I know what you mean about Black; my Volvo XC60 is black with black leather interior. I was in the IS camp early...but then my wife bought a Lincoln Corsair in a different color name - but exact same paint code as Iconic Silver. So we've had it for ~ a month. Looks good 24/7. Will be a great Bronco color, but I changed my order to AMBI've had 3 dark colored cars...they only lookgood the day you wash them
