So the average 5'9" and 195lb guy needs a full size to fit? Should I reconsider the Bronco at 6'? 😬
I feel personally attacked.
Haven't been 195 since 1996.

Sync 3 without wireless carplay seems like a miss here. Sync 4 is in the bronco and f-150, why not this car? Wireless carplay is so much nicer so why go backward?

1.Yes.
2. 24's, yo! *but only with insane negative camber and in select locations
3. Bandpass 12's, LED strips and 60k watt Fosgate amp. Will blow the rear window completely out of it. Unless by chance you put a topper on it and load that to the gills with Subs also.
Then when that Sir-Mix-A-Lot bass drops it will actually levitate the whole vehicle to your destination.

I like what I see. It reminds me of the old Ford Rangers that I had a couple of. It's not as ugly as some of the other unibody trucks out there right now. My Rangers were always the right size for my truck needs, bringing home a piece of furniture, dirt, mulch, etc. It doesn't show up yet on the Ford Canada site for me to check out pricing here.

I got close then gained 10-15lbs
Lol all through high school I weighed about 175, benched more than 2X that.
Then got out of school/sports.
Went in the Military.
Drank a few beverages.
The pounds crept and crept up until 200 and I was like "Dang I'm fat!"
Got up to 225, then had an appendix situation I was unaware of until it ruptured and resealed, only to rupture again 3 months later and lost down to 170 again. (Doc said he had never seen that and was no medical reason I was still alive, but obviously had the immune system of a Rhino).
Then it came back, and brought friends!
At 248.9 I wished I was as fat as I was when I thought I was fat. And knew it was time to take a stand and do something about it.
Back down to 230 now, trying to make better choices and all that.
5'11" at 18, now 5'10".
Such is the struggle for those without the metabolism of a competition racehorse (like my 19 yr old son who can eat an entire box of Hot Pockets and lose weight).

I may have to trade my Jeep Compass on a Maverick now. XLT to get it in Oxford White, Navy Pier interior as a throwback to my dad's 71 Maverick in color. I'd be using it mostly as a commuter/errand vehicle, so the hybrid engine would work for me. And it's more the right size overall.

LuL WuT both are unibody
You aren’t getting it.
If Ford is getting into the Uni-body world, they have way more experience in the truck world compared to Honda
It will totally out sell the ridge line.
Thats what I am saying.

Immune system surely came from the beverages 🤙

Ford just keeps nailing it. Bronco sport definitely got the better front fascia but I assume they sacrificed design for fuel economy here pretty heavily.

For a “beater” around town truck this thing is perfect. Low maintenance, and BOMBPROOF drivetrain. The 2.5 hybrid in fusions and escapes have gone well over 400k+ in taxi service, whoever looked at that stat and said “We should put this powertrain in a little truck” is an absolute genius. These things will be kicking around for decades just chugging along similar to how the old rangers do.
