Was 10/4 your FIRST allocated build week? Was it assigned BEFORE the MIC 2.0 was released? If this is the case, it explains why you were bumped. All 9/13, 9/20 and 9/27 people were already kicked 4-5 weeks to October weeks, this could also be part of that adjustment to make space for MIC 2.0 Wildtrak, and 1st Editions. I highly doubt there's a brand-new commodities shortage crap.

Yes, that was my first build week...but I'm a soft top. I just thought it strange as it seems all of the similar builds from 10/4 got moved back a full month; and any later scheduled builds with similar config were moved up. Lot's of 10/11 (original date soft tops) builds moved to 10/4....and near exact 10/4 builds thrown back to 11/1. No discernible pattern....

I think you're over-analyzing the details- bottom line was they had to move a ton of soft-top builds out of the way to integrate the hard top line again, while prioritizing the FE's and WT's. that's basically all the shifting that occurred. Don't read into WHO got pulled back up, i.e. say a 10/11 being pulled up to a 10/4 or 9/27... that was more or less a lottery draw.

I seriously doubt there's another parts shortage in play, these moves are all part of the re-shuffling caused by MIC 2.0 dropping earlier than expected.

Just found out I was moved from the 10/4 build week to the 11/1 build week. bummer.

Not sure if that's where I'm still at, but I highly doubt I'd be moved up, and I know of others with a later reservation date, similar build who just got scheduled for week of 11/8 today... so I'd like to think at the very least I'm still 11/1? Who knows at this point.

All I know is I have a VIN, so I should be built this year. So my timeline is anytime between now and 12/31/2021. Bout the best timeline Ford's ever given me.

I had found out from my dealer that I was moved back from 10/4 to 11/1. Based on posts here, I didn't expect to hear anything further from Ford, however, lo and behold I got a "Production Date Changed" email late this evening just after 7pm EST confirming the change.

I finally received an email confirmation of the production slippage to 11/1 build week, so now my Ford email and VV report are in sync.

I just got the email for 11/1. Back in August I got the email that they would let me know sometime in October what the status is. I’m a big bend, MIC top. I think this is my 5th build date.
