Crossroads Ford in Apex has a 2.3 Manual Badlands Demo

Joe Maus Ford in Albemarle has a 4d base sas salesman told me when I stopped to look at it that per Ford ( the factory) only employees were allowed to drive it and no test rides. Wouldn't even open the door for me. I asked him if he was sure 3 times.He told me he was positive and had been transferred from the jeep store just to handle the bronco then told him he was getting bad information and left. PLEASE dont lie to us dealership people. Bronco addicts are smart.

No, it was just a one day thing, months ago, they had a pair that traveled from dealership to dealership, with spokespeople to answer questions. I figured out from this board that they were going to be at JC Lewis and booked appointments for my wife and I to check them out before my salesperson even knew the event was happening. I sat in both, no one was getting test drives.

@tomcartmeljr oh ok I did a few of those too. So far the only test drives I've seen are at J.C.Lewis. I might head down there next weekend just to see how it handles.

FWIW, crossroads of indian trail is allegedly getting 12 builds picked up this week. Will believe it when I see it but that is what the Bronco guy there told me. They already have 6 vins out of I believe 33-34 total allocation.

well now ford is allegedly not scheduling stuff this week so push that back lol

@jsully10 I was kind of wondering if they will schedule MICs and two doors this week, and soft top four doors next week. But they’ve spent most of the past three months not scheduling - so that is the assumption - maybe next week ….

Yes, you need to schedule an appt. I drove it yesterday. Lots of fun! They let you take it out 30-60 minutes. No one from the dealership went with us. It was me, my wife, and a friend. We stopped and flipped the top back for awhile. It has the power leather seats. I was hoping to play more with the MGV, but oh well. I had sent my dealer an email asking if their total dealer allotment has been changed to dealer stock thus resulting in fewer “custom” orders being fulfilled…the pics were the answer…LOL. Well, at least I know a Bronco is within 40 miles of my house

Who in here ordered their car from Burns Ford in Lancaster? According to Mr. Burns himself, I'm the 10th one on the list and I got a slot the week of July 19th. I'm curious to hear about other people's experiences with them and what they've said about your car.

Anyone found a 2 door Mannequin in the RTP area? I’ve driven the 7MT four door Badlands at Crossroads, and really would like to at least see, and drive two door.

We went high package too. Strange they put both Mid & High Package on the invoice. Went back and forth on lux but decided against it.

Just found out I'm 3rd on the scheduled orders list at Huntersville. I know it doesn't mean much with delays and shortages but I'll take that very small bit of hope

@Bronco-420 - missed the High further down the list - so yeah the only difference is the key code (which I took off so I can buy it as an accessory and put it where I want it), and the CO paint. Looking forward to your reviews while I wait to hit the VIN lottery.

I've seen some stuff posted in the forums about mannequins in NC. Does anybody know of any dealers in SC with mannequins (or Augusta)?

I still haven't seen a Bronco in person.

I switched to soft top in mid May and got scheduled for a July 19 build soon after. Reserved 7/31 and converted to order in February. BL 4-door 2.7 & mid package.

Same thoughts here too, I know that if I don't wait on the MIC I'm not gonna get it! But I might have to start walking everywhere, my car here is gonna die any day.... thinking of a lease but WHAT IF I get a surprise and they pull through!?!?!?

Just putting it out there that Jones Ford in North Charleston said they would be getting 1 mannequin, but it would strictly be for the service department as a loaner while someone was getting their vehicle worked on.

Any Crossroads of Indian Trail people out there? Have you gotten you build yet? I have been told I am 22/34 in the allocation but my MIC is what is screwing me big time rn. Debating the soft top before the deadline next week

After a weekend of highway driving...I'm beyond impressed with how smooth the ride is. I hit some bumps that toss my Fusion all over the place, this just ate it up. The back windows slide in and out like butter. I don't have my door bags yet, so haven't taken them off yet. Did a car cruise for about 30 minutes today, it was the "it" car no doubt about it.

Bunk, I know your probably busy, if possible…a measurement from the ground to the driver seat height please. It would be appreciated

Both Crossroads Apex, and Capital Raleigh have 4 door soft top badlands 7MT mannequins. So they are starting to deliver. Would really like to see a 2 door in person.

Anyone ordering from Crossroads of Indian Trail? Have you got your build date? I was finally able to pry out that I am 22/34 in the allocation, have pretty basic build other than MIC. Curious if anyone in front of me dropped or got their VIN yet. Still waiting for the golden email.

Nah, I'm still with Felix Sabatas. I was able to pry out that I'm 50th or so in line, but comically they are claiming they don't know their allocation. So it tells me nothing. Early day 2 res. No VIN, no updates.

@Tarheel_Wes Yea it's definitely annoying. I will say about crossroads is that 98% of the time, they know at least something. Past 2 times I checked in, the MIC issues were good, and that I should get picked soon but who knows at this point. I am surprised I am in the 20's since I was day 6 res lol

Yes I’ve since learned it was dumb as hell for me to pick the well-known dealer because obviously that’s what everyone else did as well.

I’d have a build date if I’d chosen crossroads or ft mill.

I'm thinking about "99-ing" my order to '22. Still can't get much out of my dealer. Anyone know if you "99" it, if you can then SWITCH dealers? or was that only if you had not converted to order yet? Also, I know we have price protection until 2023, but anyone know if you still get the free sound deadening headliner if you 99 to model year '22?

I tried putting my vin and order number into the Order Tracker, but it wouldn't recognize my vin. Anyone else having this issue?

Just checked mine and it remains unchanged. Make sure you copy your VIN then paste. Too easy to make a typo.

Wow. Been a while since I updated. No news on allocation or placement, as apparently it is a moving target. I Code 99'ed myself a few weeks back to hopefully get it in warmer weather next yr vs. fall (or winter) this year, take advantage of the potential of a great green option, and whatever updates they are making to issues with the '21.
Got a TJ I paid cash for to drive the heck out of until then.
Hopefully you guys get good news and I'll see at least one of these on the road at some point this year.

Nothing yet from Ford or Asheville Ford. Asheville Ford is more clueless than a Turkey in a downpour. I've tried multiple times to get info from them, but I just get "Ford will email you"
