ETD to dealer…11/16, this is gonna be the longest week of my wife’s life…LOL

Mine's here! Loving driving it on the road.

Now I wanna take it OFF the road. Anyone have any suggestions for mild/moderate trails in Central NC. (Sanford/Raleigh/Fayetteville area). I'm working nights and weekends, so looking for places I can do in a morning/afternoon run-around. (Particularly if I can bring my drone!)

I’m in Carthage and Uwharrie is the best spot.

Uwharrie closes for the winter mid Dec and reopens beginning of April.

Feel like I’ve been under a rock, just started reading the thread about the MIC 2.0 , jeez….the problems persist!

Mine hasn’t shown anything yet but it’s only been a few weeks.

@zoldham You should check the labels to see if the clamshell is a MIC 1.0 that has a re-spray of “primer” at a later date, or was actually manufactured aa a 2.0 in like September or something.

@Dads_bronze_bronco I’ll check according to Ford it’s a 2.0 and should be since it sat since July on Dort Mountain and I just got it Oct 26th

I switched my order to a soft top. I was going to get the hard top and do the soft top aftermarket. If I decide I want a hard top, I will wait until they work out all of the issues or go aftermarket.

Got mine a week after my actual Bronco arrived (Halloween), and 3 months after it rolled off the line to be stored on Dirt Mountain. :-D

Checked yesterday (11/4, GF's Birthday!) and saw a window sticker visible AND that she had started production! Hope she will thankfully be here before Thanksgiving!

Oxford White 2Dr Black Diamond 2.7L should be coming out of production today or tomorrow. Blend 10/27/21. Showing 11/22 dealership delivery date to NC! Less than a month now! Crossed fingers for delivery before Thanksgiving.

I too hope to have mine by Thanksgiving but it's spent the last 11 weeks on Dirt Mountain.

Hopefully you get yours. That is my scheduled build week and don't know if it is possible to be more excited or anxious than I have been since schedule to build email 9/30

I can see it's built. The Modules populated. Still without a built, or ship email. Still says Nov 22nd delivery to my dealer.

Anybody know of a 2-door mannequin anywhere around charlotte or anywhere in NC really? I test drove the Badlands 4 cyl auto yesterday at Ft. Mill Ford (they also have a 4cyl Big Bend). The Badlands was Lux package....really nice, really makes me want that package. Driving on I-77, to me, i thought the soft-top was a little noisy.

I'll go drive the one or two at Ficken this weekend, I think they have a 6 cyl and a 4 cyl, hoping the 4 is a manual just to see...but i really wanna drive a 2 door and/or a hardtop.

@Tarheel_Wes Capital Ford of Lillington has a 2 door OBX Sasquatch 2.7 that I test drove a few months back. Im sure that's a bit of a drive for you though.

@Tarheel_Wes I haven't driven by there in a bit but I did see it still there about a month ago. They were great about letting res holders drive it as well, practically threw the keys at me. With that said IDK if it's been claimed & they've changed what they are doing with it, so just call first before you decide to drive all the way there, lol.

@Tarheel_Wes If you are still looking for a 2dr to test drive, Green Ford in Greensboro has a Rapid Red Big Bend 2.7 Sas mannequin. They only do short test drives to my knowledge, a quick up the interstate to an exit that offers an easy way back. Enough interstate to get up and go and a touch of city / light stops to feel the nimbleness. I wish it was longer since I was having a lot of fun when I took it out.

@ogo Thanks man. I drove a 2-door OB in Shelby the other day....but its the 2.3. I'm still looking for a 2.7, but my dealer actually has a 2.7 wildtrak. I'm gonna drive that tomorrow.

I want to drive one so bad but want to wait till I get mine hopefully for xmas

So excited! I got my 12/20 build week!!! Crossroads Ford of Dunn Benson. I'm their only soft top even though I am a later res (6/21) and I have no constraints beyond 2.7 so I'm sure that's why it was pulled. Can't wait & to see ya all on the road too!

Has to be a dealer mannequin. All of the 4-doors have soft tops, even the Wildtraks.

@Short_Bus_Psycho yikes.....80k. So, a dealer in Shelby has a 2 door OB (2.3) with the high package....they are selling it for 52k, but it's their mannequin, can't take it until january. it's $2500 over MSRP. So, not AWFUL....it's really really tempting.

Has anyone ordered and taken delivery from University Ford in Durham?

I went with Stephens in WV, but I live in Durham. I got my Bronco a couple weeks ago. I will likely Univ in Durham for service and accessories, so I am interested to hear others' experiences. They haven't given me a ton of confidence in the few visits I have had there thus far.

I'm starting to get cold feet with these guys. Beginning to look elsewhere...

@Wanted33 You'll be seeing a LOT more of it. I think a lot of people who have not had the time on these forums to learn about what the Broncos are and are not are going to be extremely surprised. They are great, but people who are buying it as a status symbol and think it is going to ride, drive, sit, and handle like their Lexus SUV are in for a rude awakening.

I understand brother. It's not a Camry, or Lincoln, that's for sure. Now, if these dealers would sell them at a decent price I could probably get one before 2024.

@broadicustomworks That's the reason I went out of town. I ask my salesguy at my local small town dealer what their pricing would be, and he just smiled. I knew then they would slap an ADM on the price, and he knew that I knew. But hey, doesn't matter to me. It's still a free country.....so far. I didn't even try the Charlotte dealers as I would rather have a needle in the eye than deal with them.

Interesting. I was told different numbers...they will fulfill 49 MY2021 orders and have 152 orders for MY 2022. I'm 49 on the list. As long as I get mine by mid-2022, I'll be happy. Reordering next week.

@brybar4 Heard from Crossroads Apex this morning: they had 9 22's picked up yesterday. 4 were two doors. There are now 9 scheduled in front of me (I am 4PM 7/14 reservation). So factor on 9 a month, and maybe assume 3 of those are later soft top reservations without constraints. (e.g., I am probably a February build date)

I am a July 14 20 reservation. Have a WildTrack with all deadly sins to include MIC top have a November build date and a Vin. I think they are getting hard tops just as fast as soft tops. And would hang on for what I wanted.for as. Much as you are spending. FWIW Crossroads Ford in Charlotte has been great

Hello all, so…..just found out our 9/27 build date got pushed out a month to 10/25. Has anyone else had this happen. I never got an email, I just swung by our dealer to finalize a couple of things and he informed me of the change.

My biggest problem with all this is I still don't have a Bronco, build date, or Vin number to get pushed back.

I got tired of waiting and their game, paid deposit on 2001 in stock demo out of state, can pick up the week of Christmas ,just as I ordered but with more bells and whistles, after being notified that I would have to order a MY22,At least I now know I’ll get one the way I want it.

Received my shipped email yesterday. Hope it doesn't take the full 3 weeks! Arrival window of 10/21 - 10/27. Looking forward to washing Dirt Mtn off of her (why does that sound so dirty?)

Mine arrived to Louisiana a week early, I think the shipping windows are somewhat arbitrary. Your dealer can track the actual train and tell you where it is.

@HardenUp palsapp is just for trucks. Check the tracking thread and there are ways to track each rail company. Yours is probably on NSX (Norfolk Southern) like mine was. Your dealer should be able to provide you with the rail line and railcar number.

@BroncoKong Jr. I'm in the western part of the state, but the stuff near me is mainly smaller/shorter (Hurricane Creek, Brown Mountain, etc), I think Uwharrie is the main destination. I've debated on heading out there tomorrow and riding Sat, but not sure how it'd be with all the rain and being solo. If you go further west into TN, Windrock has an enormous number of trails ranging from mellow to fairly intense. I've ridden bikes there, but am doing a guided ride there in a week or two. If you decide you want to check any of that stuff out, LMK, I may be able to drive out depending on my schedule.

I also know there is a carolina broncos group on FB, they are having an event at Uwharrie on Nov 6th IIRC.

Thanks! I read somewhere else that the wet application was 'easier'. I think it's just one of those things that you've really got to take your time with and do it slowly.

The first attempt the adhesion wouldn't dry fast enough. The owner of Vector Signs is a great guy. After the 1st attempt I wanted to take it to a shop and he convinced me to let him try again and I'm glad he did. The script Bronco we got from Bronco Depot USA and it took all of 5 minutes to put them on.

That looks great. Glad to see some Broncos actually made it to the Carolinas.

Hi, Big Bend, mid pkg. Took off the painted roof and tow pkg to get the earlier delivery. Plan to use the FordPass rewards to purchase the top in 2023.

I took delivery of my Bronco Badlands last Monday and have loved it ever since! Green Ford in Greensboro, NC did a great job and I paid the price we agreed on when I ordered. I believe I have 1 of 2 Broncos in the Greensboro area right now but I really hope to start seeing more soon (i guess they will have to be soft tops for a while). I got the 2.3L and it has plenty of get up and go. MPG are averaging 17-18 as advertised.

I hope to have a very similar build to yours in Durham in a few weeks. Do you have MGV? If so, what do you think?

@Holliday I do have the MGV and am very happy with it. It looks great and the seats are very comfortable. Its lighter than I expected and you can see a faint pattern in it when the sun hits directly.

Area 51. Looks great. How was your experience with Green Ford? I went by there last Sunday and had to pull into the lot and stare at the demo model out front (I assume it was the demo model) Rapid Red Big Bend with Sasquatch and I think the 2.7.

@ogo As I understand it the date of the '22 order banks opening has changed (kinda like every other deadline Ford has set for the Bronco). I've read it will be later in Sept., and even heard it may be Oct. However, stick with calling your salesperson on Sept. 13th, as anything is possible .

@ogo That is their demo, we test drove it shortly before our Badlands arrived, its a nice set up. Green Ford was great. They have a customer specialist named Alex, he was our contact there after reserving. He also walked us through our order and made sure everything was right. He was really good at responding to texts and calls as well and got our tops switched from dual to soft when that became an obvious restraint. All in all I was very happy with Green Ford and would go through this process again with them. Have you reserved through a different dealer? I'm definitely curious to hear other NC customers experiences with different dealerships.

Here’s to hoping some more of us in the Carolinas get scheduled to build dates!

Haven't lost any of the excitement...have been keeping up on the new Bronco for a few years now. Started my budgeting plan for this over a year ago...phase 1 is almost complete (pay off all CC debt), second phase will happen between ordering and it getting built, which will be getting a respectable down payment. So was always planning on a MY22 build

Just wanted to edit this one and say I saw the A51 color on a Bronco Sport today at Green Ford in Greensboro. Pictures just don't do that color justice...It's in my top 3 color choices.
