Just curious, what color is everyone thinking? I was leaning towards Cactus Gray and it seems to be the popular color on the forum. I was wondering if it would be in Michigan as well.

I wish there was a Grabber Yellow or Blue. Velocity Blue is one I like but late availability is a no go.

@Mattwings Me too. I also wish they had more nonmetallic options. When I really start to use my Bronco down the road I don't want to worry about added cost of matching metallic paints if I need a serious repair. Grabber Blue would have been perfect.
kplumb09
Cactus gray is the front runner here as well, mainly because the SO loves it too. Also considering the Carbonized and A51......really need to see some of these in person to solidify a choice

I didn't think paint color would be the hardest decision...I would usually go White, I love White vehicles, they hid dirt well and almost glow, at least Oxford White does...but I am not feeling the white on Bronco, and it bugs me that I can't pinpoint why...
Mattwings
Mattwings
@McCracken I have an Oxford White Explorer and F150 in the driveway right now, just doesn't seem like the G6 Bronco should be white (even though my last 90 Bronco was white too :))

@Mattwings LOL, we are almost the same, I have a Oxford F-150, and my wife has a White Platinum Metallic Explorer Platinum, lots of platinum in that one...
It also doesn't help, that the first thing that comes to mind when someone says White Bronco, I think of 1994 OJ...

Anyone look at the threads on potential option prices? What are your order plans as of now(knowing it could all change once Build and Price comes out? For me- Outer Banks, 2.7l, Rear Locker, Roof Rack, Modular Bumper, Tow Package and probably LUX package, because I want the upgraded stereo and adaptive cruise. Lot's of stuff I don't want, but as usual, individual options either won't be available out of certain packages or the cost won't make sense. That likely puts me at about $52K plus tax, ugh. I know different areas of the country use/need different types of vehicles, so I was curios what my fellow Michiganders were thinking.

I hope it's not to difficult to mod the audio, if I decide against the Lux route. B&O is probably pretty nice. The factory sub woofer looks pretty well integrated. It's been a while since I built custom enclosures and they weren't usually in such a tight space. Also gets constantly more technical to add aftermarket electronics. Space and volume are my main concerns in the Bronco, top off you need some volume!!!!.

Philly
@Mattwings the B&O in my dad’s 2018 F-150 is pretty awesome for a factory setup. It’s definitely all I would want. If you are an audiophile I’m sure you could do better aftermarket, but at the same time with no doors and no roof all that really matters is that it’s loud with the top and doors off!
Mattwings
Mattwings
I have heard good things about it too, more a question of $ than quality, it's probably too nice for a loud Bronco. I really depends on price and what other requirements there are to include it.
jdogi
@Mattwings Yea, 5 grand for the enhanced audio. I just can't.
VelocityBronco
VelocityBronco
I will do the B&O if it's a standalone option, but I'm not paying the $2300 from High package to the Lux. I don't care about anything else in the Lux package worth it.

So mid package is $1500, High package is $1200, and Lux is $2300, but you have to add the costs as you go up.

@McCracken I totally get that, but there are many times I wish I had a little better audio in my Wrangler. I don't have the premium alpine system that was available and it does make a difference vs. my stock system even with doors off. Is it worth paying for the whole package? Probably not... but it would be nice!
VelocityBronco
VelocityBronco
@Philly I get that, I had the stock system in my F-150, and replaced all the speakers and added an amp bc it was garbage when stock...a nice sound system would be nice, so I am hoping that the B&O can be added alone, but $2300 for the LUX just to get the B&O is high, I could add my own stereo/sub and have extra $$ for other add-ons. We shall see once the build and prices comes out.

The other bonus when build and price is available, we can struggle over all these decisions again with real $ in mind ? I am kind of glad the Bronco is taking so long to come out, it’s a hobby thinking about just what to order!
VelocityBronco

@Mattwings I would have more joy building my Bronco in my head if I knew more of the accessories going to be offered from Ford. I would say not so much a hobby...obsession really!
Anyone considering or already going thru Granger for the below invoice pricing?

Yea I have X-Plan also, I want to offer my dealer the chance to work with me to save the travel and because I like my sales guy, but money talks, even if local would come close and not match could be worth it to save the added leg work of going out of state
VelocityBronco

I would like to stay local, I want to be there when it gets delivered if I can. But I guess after build & price comes online, it would be worth talking with dealership about pricing before we are "locked" into our selected dealers by the October deadline. It would be a lot better for buyers if we could switch dealers up until the order is submitted, that way you can walk away from a dealer trying to pull some last minute crap, and carry your reservation to another one.

I'm considering going with granger if elder ford in Washington twp isn't as accommodating.
Mattwings
Fortunately I still get Z plan and my dealer acknowledged they had no issue honoring my order, so sticking local.

Kalamazoo/Portage here. Anyone else planning on buying from Seelye? Just wondering if you were able to get any details? I initially talked to Brandon Kirsch and was going to ask a few questions. So far, according to him, it sounds like they aren't marking these up like I've heard with some dealers. Also, no events planned at Seelye or any dealers on this side of the state that he's aware of at this time.

I'm Kalamazoo, going with Northgate out of Port Huron, my buddy just bought a new edge from Seelye and had a great experience last month,

a few years back we had a terrible experience though with them concerning the salesman trying to avoid showing us the A plan pricing we were asking to see. Made a call to Chris at Northgate and he offered to pull that car off their lot and sell it to us if we were set on it. He ended up delivering a more optioned one on a flat bed to not have any added miles, with A plan and answered every question we had.

Last 8 years in Grand Rapids, moved to Birmingham and building in Novi. This will be the first Ford product I’ve ever bought. I’ve owned 6 Wranglers over the last 23 years.

Been on the dunes at Silver Lake countless times and looking forward to Holly Oaks.

My wife’s uncle suggested Bill Brown Ford in Livonia so I picked them. Probably going with a 2 door Badlands in Cyber Orange. Engine is TBD.

Might be worth talking to Lasco Ford (in Fenton I believe). Buddy of mine that does commercial vehicle sales said he’s seen stupid deals from them more than once. Said they were way under on the gt500’s. Worth checking out if you’re on that side of the state now.
Mattwings
Hello all. Northville and East Tawas depending on the day. I am up for Holly Oaks, West Side, UP wherever looks interesting next year. Also happy to set up rides on the East Side as well. I am going to try out Holly Oaks in my F150 when it opens next month. If I knew the bolt pattern on the Bronco and it matched the F150 I would buy a set of wheels and MT tires for the winter to make the F150 a bit more capable (it has the 2.7, 10sp, rear electronic locker and 3.55 gears). I look forward to connecting with other owners for sure. I am pretty sure it’s the Outerbanks 2.7, modular bumper, rear locker in Cactus Gray for me.

Good morning all,

I am currently reserved with Crest Ford in Centerline. My guy said he expects A/Z/X will be available, but not much other information shared.

I have bought 4 vehicles from them and have felt well treated everytime.

I am buying for Tom Holzer Ford in Farmington btw. I have verified A/Z plan. This will be my 7th vehicle from them, so hopefully they continue to treat me well.

Northville Here. Frequently go to Holland/Saugatuck area.

I am getting a base with nothing on it and then I will gradually modify. I am trading in a 2016 Manual Transmission Mustang Convertible.

I selected Village Ford In Dearborn as they are very likely to not mark up and it is (one of?) the closest dealer(s) to the plant. Time on the transport truck will be about 11 minutes (depending on whether they hit a red light near Telegraph and Michigan Ave).

I'd go with Marauders, if we wanna stick with the sports team alliteration model

Anyone else excited to go hit Holly Oaks ORV park? Or is that just me? I’ll be as green as it gets when it comes to wheeling but definitely going to give it a go! I think Holly Oaks will be a good place to get acquainted with off roading and meet some new friends.
