Love my eruption green! Original order was carbonized grey (same as my F250.) Changed order to dark blue (whatever color it’s called) which looked great in the sun, but too dark for me on a cloudy day. Happy I was able to change it to green… Also had the wheel silver trim rings powder coated black.

Here are better pictures of my new Katzkin Mahogany interior with black diamond stitching. I like it with the EG. :)

Picked up my Bronco late today after being gone a week and of course the dealer left it outside during our 15” snowstorm. I’ll get it cleaned up tomorrow and post better pictures of the Katzkin interior with better lighting but here are a few. They weren’t supposed to do the diamond stitch on the armrest and they will fix it for free if that’s what I decide. I’m undecided on that for now but I love the color of the seats and the feel and overall look. The second picture is the more accurate color, my phone was changing the tone in the poor lighting I had.

I also need to hardwire my radar detector or at least get it wired to the dash usb near the windshield. I’ve only got 390 miles on it so lots to do!

Three quick questions, can you tell me the color of the Katskin you chose? How long did the install take them? And what does the backside of the second row look like?

Mahogany and I dropped it off at my dealer and it was back to them in two days. I hadn’t even looked at the backside but I just did and it’s the same factory like black carpeting. I also have a 2022 Bronco with factory leather in the garage that I just compared it to and it’s tough to tell the difference between the 2nd row backside carpeting.

This looks great, is there any rubbing at all? Does it drive any differently with the 34s
I really drives similarly to the 32s. Very responsive, and I haven't noticed a noise difference, but its windows-up season. Gas mileage is down appx 2 MPG, but I also haven't calibrated the speedo, so part of that is my mileage is tracking lower as well. (hate that I have to do Forescan and the dealer can't make the adjustment, I have bricked laptops messing with settings and I personally don't want to mess with it — and I have only Macs, so that also is a barrier).

As for rubbing, I have had none at all. Photo below is at full left turn. They filled my tires a bit high (40) so I will recheck when I air them down. But right now at full turn there is a •tiny• 1/4ish gap between tire and crash bar. Not sure if I have the roof rack loaded or a full camping load on board if it would stay clear or not, but then again the only time i do a full tight turn is when I am playing in the snow with trail turn assist.

(apologies for the slushy pic, I was just playing after i dropped my kid off and before the plow comes, lol)

The installer said there is another reputable company out there doing these. Didn’t see them or their colors before I used Katskin
Alea leather is fantastic. The shop I plan on going to if I don't just stick with the Mabbet PU ones does both Katzkin and Alea. He personally uses Alea in his cars.

My 23 Badlands LUX came in a few weeks ago and I’ve done black beadlock rings and a tire cover. Our shop will install fog lights a black bronco badge and green Bronco grill lettering next week. I like it but would do the 2.7 next time. I originally ordered it without the Sasquatch but decided to add it and couldn’t change to the 2.7 or I’d lose my 22 to 23 price protection. Anyways my only gripe is the fuel tank size but I’m used to driving trucks. Also FordPass has stopped working on some 23 Broncos and F150’s including mine. I spoke to a member at Ford and she stated they’re working to see if an OTA update works if not the modems will need to be replaced.

Pick her up a week ago in Alabama then a rode trip home to SoCal. I can’t believe how enjoyable a ride this Bronco has and after driving through a Tornado in Louisiana I can say this Bronco is Build Wild.

I posted this in the 2Door thread but thought some of the EG peeps may enjoy.

A few updates since I picked her up on 2/10/23.

RTR 0 offset wheels
Kenda KR601’s 37’s
Icon Tie Rods
JKS rear lower shock skids (I may trim back the main bolt as it’s pretty long)
Painted the pinch weld black
RCI UCA skids
RCI 20° sliders
RCI crossmember skids
Builtright Molle panels
Tuffskinz door sill protectors
JCR tailgate reinforcement
GRT Offroad perch collar lift. I still need to go flex it out and check clearance.

I have a goose gear tailgate table in my garage, still contemplating if I go with this one or something else.

Tint is likely next. Can’t wait for spring!

Looks great and nice choices.
Why did you choose not to go with RCI pinch weld "covers"?
How do you like JCR tailgate reinforce and need pics?
Let's see poke with those 0 offset?
What lift?

Can you measure distance from ground to high point on hard top? The vertical distance if a straight edge was placed across hard top.

Thanks

Pinch cover or paint? RCI makes top quality stuff, I think their pinch weld covers are a great choice for those looking to improve the look of their Bronco when adding steps or sliders. That said…IMPO I like paint. Painting the pinch welds was not hard by any means but the pinch weld covers prolly install in 1/10 of the time it took me to paint.

JCR tailgate reinforcement is great so far. Time will tell if it helps keep these hinges from misbehaving. This is the only decent photo I have at this time. I don’t like how far the swing gate opens so maybe I’ll try HB’s shorter gas strut for giggles, but that’s not related to JCR’s product.

Poke is about perfect for what I was going for and helps clear the 37’s. I may end of trimming a few minor plastic pieces here and there but I need time on the trail to see how it flexes. Almost all the gates are closed around here until late spring.

Lift is the GRT Offroad perch collar lift. I look at this as temporary until JKS / FOX can overcome their supply chain woes and I save up the sorely missing cash for a proper coil over kit

Height: non scientific tape measure puts it at approx 76.5” from the garage floor.

Thank you so much. The chart that I'd been using for the longest time is wrong as it put SAS at 78.7" before any extra lift or 37s, so I figured adding 1-2" of lift and 37s would make it exceed 80" pretty fast but your measurement helps and proves the chart is wrong. A base SAS is in fact 75.4" on 35s. The chart is misleading as it assumes an OEM roof rack but you can't even get a SAS with roof rack. Anyway, rig looks great, love the color (my same color) and enjoying the build. Keep up the good work. My photoshopped EG attached.
