Looks good! I like the old school retro FORD on the tailgate, haven't seen anyone do that yet ;)

The FORD on the tailgate helps complete the Early Bronco look.

Wait until the Grill, Fender Flares (Body Color) and Top (Body Color) are done.

Just got the scheduling email Thursday on a CG 2 door BB. Love those wheels, might just have to order some. Your setup looks great. 👍

The wheels are one of the very few old school polished wheels with a Positive offset. These are at +12. I did not want the tires to stick out past the fender flares.

The only place that had them (18x9, +12) in stock was Summit Racing.

I installed the Heritage Grill this morning. Black center of the grill for the Special Decor.

The FORD letters were melted in place as original grill/letters were done.

I'll get the Painted Fender Flares installed in the next couple days and update with some additional pictures.

I especially love the wheels and tires!
Thanks!

I installed the Kicker 48CWRT82 Rear Subwoofer yesterday. Even though I did reuse the Original Sub Box, there is a lot of room behind the Passenger side quarter panel for a custom (Larger) enclosure and additional Amps.

The Trim Panel itself is pretty easy to remove. Just start at the rear near the tailgate, and with a firm tug the clips release pretty easily.

Here is the Original B&O Sub Box and Factory Amp. Only the one corner near the Amp had to be trimmed and the Kicker 8" Woofer dropped right in.

Here is a look at the Pathetic Factory Subwoofer.

Here is the final assembly with the Kicker 8" sub installed. (Just the left corner of the box trimmed) I am getting additional Bass response compared to stock but I am inclined to add an Amp to drive it. No rattles or odd noises are present.

There are two Positive and Negative terminals on the Kicker Subwoofer as well just as original. Factory wires for now. I will rewire when I install the Subwoofer Amp.

I installed the Mabett Rear Speaker Pods this evening. I added Poly Fill to the Pods and installed the Kicker (47KSC6704) 6 3/4" Speakers. The speakers slipped in place with No modifications at all.

Would they sound better without the Poly Fill? Not sure?

The bump in size from the 4" to the 6 3/4" in the rear pods may not seem like much, but the sound difference is Very noticeable. It was enough that I had the adjust the fade to the front more to balance the sound better. There is a nice addition of Bass from these speakers as well.

When seen side by side you can see how much larger the 6 3/4" speakers are when compared to the 4". Pretty substantial difference actually.

I upgraded the B&O Sound System with all new speakers. I am amazed on how poor this "Premium" Stereo System is.

I was going to include an Amp as well, but after installing just the speakers there is a great difference in sound quality. There is a much clearer sound, more volume and additional Bass compared to stock setup. I'm sure it could sound better, but I think I'll just do the Kicker speakers.

Here are the speakers I installed:
Kicker 47KCS404 - (5) - Three in the Dash and two in the rear Roll Bar pods
Kicker 47KSC6704 - (2) - Kick Panels
How difficult was the swap out? Coming from a Jeep, accessing the knee panels on the dash was a PIA.

It takes time, but not hard at all with the proper panel pry tools.

The Front Dash Speaker Panels pop up at the front near the windshield, then you can pull them off.

The kick panel speaker replacement takes the longest. You have to remove the Kick Panel itself on both sides. The drivers side also has the foot rest which is held on with two nuts mounted on studs in the floor.

I replaced the Factory Rear pods with the Mabett Pods to install the larger 6 3/4" speakers here. The pods are easy to remove on the 2-Door. The 4-Door Hard Top has minimal clearance over the pods. A special tool or Hard Top Raise/Removal may be required.

I ordered from Crutchfield and the Kick Panel Brackets and Wire Adaptors were optional for the Bronco. I found the other (different) wire adaptors on eBay.

I was not happy with the sound on the Center Dash channel for the 2-way Kicker there. I switched to a PRV 4" Midrange which made a great difference! This calmed down the highs from the dash area that was too much before.

I did go back and install Dynamat on the Rear Floor Deck and over the Wheel Wells. I also filled the factory Sub Box with Poly Fill and made sure to wire correctly this time. One side + and - was reversed so the phase was off.

Once everything was re-installed the sound quality is so much better. I'm really not sure that I need Amps and a Matrix??? I'm sure it would sound better yet if tuned correctly.

The PRV speakers (pictured to the right) are Very inexpensive and this Midrange sounds great in the Center Dash.
