I took mine to the dealer shop yesterday and they said the error auto resolved in 6mins from whatever triggered the sensor to go off. The service team did a thorough check but were unable to determine what could have caused the issue. Wish Ford could change the app so it also picks up sensor alert clears and helps avoid unnecessary scheduling and trip to dealership in situations like this.

I took delivery of my 2023 Badlands 2.7L on 5/26/23. Odometer just hit 1038 this evening. I am now getting the check engine light and my FORDPass app is reporting "The engine control system has detected the crankcase ventilation hose sensor is reporting a signal outside of its expected value". My dealer says they can look at the issue Saturday. @PC Austin thanks for posting that we'll need to wait for a software update. I'll share that information with my dealer. But I'm going to let them take a look at it on Saturday anyway just to be sure.

While driving to the dealership today the light went away and the message disappeared from my FORDPass app. So I canceled my service appointment. I guess I’ll just wait and see if the issue ever returns.

I also just got this issue today.

This plus the clunking coming from the rear end/transmission, and the AC vents falling.

I knew it was a mistake buying a Ford. Not even 5k miles and it is already falling appart.

It's such a shame that so much time, effort, and designing goes into a great concept only to be undermined by some line worker (whether it be at Ford assembly or at their parts vendors) that is more concerned about how they feel they are "underpaid" than actually doing their job right.

If things were built with quality in mind, there would be very few design flaws with the 6th Gen Bronco.

I got this message along with the CEL yesterday on my ‘23 OBX, just over 2k miles. I’ve continued driving it normally as my daily driver, no signs of trouble *knock on wood*. From the posts on here, sounds like most likely a software update issue, and hopefully nothing more?

CEL was off this morning, and the notification is no longer on my FordPass app. On to the next thing…

As others have experienced, it self-cleared but I still brought it to a dealership and they did the same fix - TSB 23-2185. Just a simple update.
