Padre Island. Got there early and there’s nothing quite like doing 4wd donuts in the the remote areas of sand. Can’t drive on dunes but it was a blast all the same.

Loved having the bronco near the water. Kelty awning saved us from the scorching heat and held up in 20+mph winds when folks were seeing canopys blow over.

Ashley will be coming to visit this week. I'm sure she'll have plenty of pictures to share when she returns. Tricia will have to travel a bit to get to see the ocean. She's always welcome if she's up for the 2k+ mile drive.

It's 400 miles from here to the Pacific Ocean.

Although my closest beach is Puerto Peñasco, Sonora Mexico (or as Americans call it Rocky Point). But still, not likely my Bronco will be seeing sand other than desert sand.
