No holds barred B&O audio upgrade: Blam, Helix, mObridge, SgS, JL, Resonix, MTI

This new Bronco came in for the ultimate audio upgrade!

With an impressive array of components, we took this Bronco from a bland listening experience to one that rivals the best concert venue you've been to.

Utilizing the JL MAX measurement device we created a "2 seat" tune that gives the driver AND the passenger an equally incredible sound stage at the same time.

This was made possible by using 3 wideband speakers across the dash in conjunction with the Helix center channel upmixing ability.

The front stage is completed with the 6.5s in the kicks providing the mid bass.

In the rear we swapped the factory pods that housed a smaller 4" speaker for MTI pods that allowed us to bump up to a 6.5" to support the fullness throughout.

Filling in the bottom end is a pair of JL Audio 12" tw3s subwoofers in a downfire box.

Applying ample amounts of Resonix sound treatment made this once noisy cabin a real pleasure to sit and enjoy the music, and also helps lessen fatigue during long road trips!

The entire vehicle was rewired to make sure NOTHING was left on the table. OEM wiring is very small and we didn't want to choke the power ability of the amp to speakers.

All connection points utilize XT style connectors appropriate for the power as well.

Thanks for sharing. Did you feel going this route and keeping a center channel was a better choice than moving to a full active 3 way setup in the front and ditching the center?

Also, did you feel the helix dsp/amp gave you more flexibility than using the dsp/amp mobridge now offers which eliminates the need for the a2b?

Very different build expectations

I've done a mobridge aio system too

As far as 3 way vs true center, you'll have to decide how much you like your passenger.

@Jbcaindo followup question I dont see this in the pics but wanted to confirm. you only used resonix cld and no other product on the floors, doors, etc right? no CCF or other resonix products? thanks!
