Base Bronco with the base stereo, which is fine after i swapped out the dash speakers for some Kickers. It occured to me that the rear speaker pods take up a stupid amount of interior space, it's usually just the 2 of us, and they sound like crap really. Can I take them off without killing the finals on the stereo?

Yup.

If possible you should also turn them off with Forscan / FDRS so it doesn't throw trouble codes. But not necessary.

^^^ what he said, pretty sure the system will get upset if there's no rear channel for the backup noises

Thanks, I can do that. I have the forscan, it's darn handy.
