Figured I have to title it a 2-Door.. if it doesn't say it.... it's probably a default 4 door.
Learned a lot about assumptions for Bronco... Assume everything is a 4 door only.. even when you build to order it. (like I was surprised the Leather package did not have electric seats. I read all about what I would get with a Bronco options thinking it was the same for a 2-Door!!!!).
After being in Bronco Purgatory from Jan Build to May... got my new Bronco. I am guessing the hold wasn't for QA reasons.
First 2 months, the bad:

First 2 months, the bad:
- Didn't come with all the Armor installed. Dealer had to find it and I had to take it back in
- My manual shifter went all floppy, and I had to take it in. Seems Ford didn't install some clips on it, and some other broke due to that, so the cables were all off.
- Then another week later, went to fully remove the hardtop, and the electrical connector was broken. (my dealer was booked out until August, found another one with an opening 7/11 - much better than 8/27!!!). They ordering a new shell to replace it. Should be an easy fix once it's in. Still...
Mod List - Interior:
TuxMat Front Floor mats - I like these, I really like how it has a flap the goes over the door sill. Still need to put on the velcro stickers.. but it's doing fine as is
Rear Seat Back Cover Backrest Protector - Wanted something to cover that carpet, and this was just cheap. That's all I was after
Mabett Cargo Sidewall Protector - I got a scuff on my plastic moving stuff around that shouldn't have scuffed it. So I got this. Installs with stick on Velcro so it's easy to remove. Update: Stick on did not like heat too much, a few around the edges came unstuck. I read others used 3m Velcro. I might switch. still appreciate scraping against the side and not worrying about it!
Lunar Heavy Duty Roll Bar Grab - Wife wants some grab handle to get in easier (more like so I can stop laughing watching). Well, even if I donāt like them. Had a 50% off coupon
giving it a try for $11, I can put off the ones I really want for awhile.
giving it a try for $11, I can put off the ones I really want for awhile.Hoolcar Hammock - Looks pretty neat. Itās a sunshade held in place with bungies, or drop it down and use straps for a rear bed hammock, or a cargo cover. The flexibility might come in handy. Ok, installed.. works great. The bungie tie down works even better with the handles I have. I don't need to insert the metal hooks to hold them in place, which might cause scratching to the paint whereI can't see it. Does NOT work as a makeshift hammock. All the carabiners stretched out and even one of the metal rings on the canvas is now oval shaped. I use if for some basic attic space, cushions and things shoved up out of the way.
Dash Accessory Mount (Large) - I was considering the small one. But shipping was free on amazon for the large, not the small.. So it wasn't that much more, and I don't keep anything on my dash to worry about the space. I like it overall. Especially the no drill, no tape part. But, heavier items need to be on the middle section. since the sides are bolted or taped in, they bounce around a bit more if items hang off of them. I'm afraid the extra weight will also slowly bend the metal tabs. Need to get more mounting devices for it.
Mabett Engine Bay Wire Harness Bracket Kit - one of those things that pop up and just made things look good. Wasnāt so worried about the vacuum hose, but now it sure looks secure. After adding arb inflator, by power cables and switch were just kinda loosely hanging along the firewalll. It look so much better and supported now. Ford should have done this by default. i think it was a great idea. Glad I saw the new item posting on the forum.
B&M Sport Shifter - letās make a fun manual transmission even better! Another mod, that isn't utilitarianā¦. Looking forward to enjoying my manual even more! Feels great. Comfortable. Itās a lot more like driving a big truck. All around great, and makes me feel Bronco is more customized for me. The bad: I got used to the position of the stock shifter, it was easy for me to hit the auto start/stop and turn on the cameras sitting in 1st gear with my finger. (Que the tiny violin
). Now Iām looking for the button again, and I canāt just casually tap it like I used to. Definitely have to remove my had from the shift knob. Also, stock knob feels a little loose. Most likely I will pull it back off and stick some foam filler in the bottom to firm it up.
Auto Start Stop Eliminator - Pretty basic with what it does. Works, and I have that little bit if extra control the setting is going to be how I left it.
Metal Bezels in Black - link might not be the product. Friend picked them up I do like the little bit of glint it has, and metal just feels better than rubber. Easy to install and fits very snugly.
AutZom Sun Visor - Off brand vendor.. it totally fits well, and defiantly is keeping the heat down. (protecting my dash from fading/cracking). Came with a bag to store it in too.
Mod List - Exterior:
Ford Underhood ARB Twin Compressor kit - this sure beats my HF Pittsburgh. Mounts super solid. Kinda glad it came with the manifold for heat dissipation, and expansion portsā¦..
Yakima Size K LockNLoad Rack - It's been super helpful to keep the cab clear with long bulky items. Carrying my 10x10 popup and tent was a good start.
Yakima Crossbar Clamps - Same price everywhere. REI was local, and wanted them fast. lower profile than if I used the skyline towers, and wayyy cheaper. I won't be loading it much. But now I want a nice 270 awning since I have the platform....
Cheap T-slot Tiedown - needed it fast, got it next day. Fits fine
HarborFreight Cargo Net - yeah. $8 and gives me that little bit more security of what I have strapped down on the roof.
Ford Performance Winch and Mount - Wanted to take advantage of the lower price and discount code, and burn up some ford points. Waiting for a discount code for the cover next. I do wonder if ford is clearing them out for a new model that supports camera and sensor relocations. That would be my luck!
Ford Performance Winch Cover - Doesn't fit well. Not too compatible with Camera and bull bar. Going to see how much of a pain it is
Camera Relocate - Cheapest I could find, and I am just bolting this on the WARN license plate winch mount bracket. (so I am plate legal, and it's up higher in an attempt to maintain stock view)
Ford Bronco Spare Tire Reinforcement Kit - Should give me more weight capability on the spare, and when bouncing around on the rocks
Ford Performance Hood Lift Kit - Added the convenience of not needed the hood prop. Itās nice when airing up, and any engine work.
Aluminum Side Steps - These are nice and wide. Fits the stye pretty well. I like it attaches too the RockRail. For now.. we'll see if I end up need a full slider/step later...
Mod List - Accessories:
MORRFlate Quad: 4-Tire Hose Kit, Up to 125ā³ Wheelbase - Oh, I do like this... Usually easy to clip onto the valve stem. (I got one that seems to be a little more difficult to set right, thinking it's the tire/wheel). Air down is easy, no more squatting, checking, rechecking, no more dropping the valve steam needle and having your tire delate over it (it was comical). I did learn to carry extra AAA batteries, and remove them when done. Nothing as fun as airing up/down and not having a working pressure gauge (although the dashboard TPMS works as a backup)
Scuvers - quick seat protector. Iād rather have leather seats, but off-roading can get a little dirty, and the in and out will cause some extra wear, got this for quick deploy and remove. -Not the best. Pulls the head rest down when I get in, and I can't move it unless I get back out, because I am sitting on it. Wish it was longer to cover more of the lower part of the seat. Bonus, I use it as a sunshade since it covers most of the window. Now using an real windshield heat visor
Bluetti Charger 1 - been having some portable battery slow charge issues on longer weeks, and the cig lighter isn't keeping up (go figure). I am liking the idea of not having to worry about solar panels to boost power to Ecoflow River Pro power. Especially since I am wheeling in sunlight, and no so much solar when I setup camp. Amazon Prime was good enough deal to pick it up, and get my next project to work on. Could not have gotten these cables run through the firewall without my wifeās help. OMG, between cutting the grommet on both sides and both of us pushing and pulling.. Glad thatās over. Now to focus on the inside.
BulletPoint - Got rid of my current iPad holder, bounces around too much. But I really liked the location. Ordered enough parts to put it where I want it, and it stays put. Dash looks cleaner, too. Tablet holder and go pro mount, along with arms.
Ford Garage Door Storage Bags - this will just make it nicer to go door less and protect my doors When not using the, Vinyl is thick and bags are pretty nice. I like the padding at the bottom to protect them.
Future/Wishlist
Rear Cargo Rack - I want AAL flexdeck.. waiting to see if it will release.
rear shock slider armor
foglights/off-road lights
chaser lights
solid out shelf- want to see what BroAddict is coming out with for 2 door deck....
Rear roll bar mount products (competing ideas):
Cargo T and J hooks
Fire Extinguisher
Storage Bags
phone mount
270 awning
I'll keep adding things, I might add more miscellaneous things I take when camping, as I go through it and figure packing out.Sponsored
