Figured I have to title it a 2-Door.. if it doesn't say it.... it's probably a default 4 door.

Learned a lot about assumptions for Bronco... Assume everything is a 4 door only.. even when you build to order it. (like I was surprised the Leather package did not have electric seats. I read all about what I would get with a Bronco options thinking it was the same for a 2-Door!!!!).

After being in Bronco Purgatory from Jan Build to May... got my new Bronco. I am guessing the hold wasn't for QA reasons.

First 2 months, the bad:
  • Didn't come with all the Armor installed. Dealer had to find it and I had to take it back in
  • My manual shifter went all floppy, and I had to take it in. Seems Ford didn't install some clips on it, and some other broke due to that, so the cables were all off.
  • Then another week later, went to fully remove the hardtop, and the electrical connector was broken. (my dealer was booked out until August, found another one with an opening 7/11 - much better than 8/27!!!). They ordering a new shell to replace it. Should be an easy fix once it's in. Still...

Mod List - Interior:
TuxMat Front Floor mats - I like these, I really like how it has a flap the goes over the door sill. Still need to put on the velcro stickers.. but it's doing fine as is
Rear Seat Back Cover Backrest Protector - Wanted something to cover that carpet, and this was just cheap. That's all I was after
Mabett Cargo Sidewall Protector - I got a scuff on my plastic moving stuff around that shouldn't have scuffed it. So I got this. Installs with stick on Velcro so it's easy to remove. Update: Stick on did not like heat too much, a few around the edges came unstuck. I read others used 3m Velcro. I might switch. still appreciate scraping against the side and not worrying about it!
Lunar Heavy Duty Roll Bar Grab - Wife wants some grab handle to get in easier (more like so I can stop laughing watching). Well, even if I don’t like them. Had a 50% off coupon  giving it a try for $11, I can put off the ones I really want for awhile.
Hoolcar Hammock - Looks pretty neat. It’s a sunshade held in place with bungies, or drop it down and use straps for a rear bed hammock, or a cargo cover. The flexibility might come in handy. Ok, installed.. works great. The bungie tie down works even better with the handles I have. I don't need to insert the metal hooks to hold them in place, which might cause scratching to the paint whereI can't see it. Does NOT work as a makeshift hammock. All the carabiners stretched out and even one of the metal rings on the canvas is now oval shaped. I use if for some basic attic space, cushions and things shoved up out of the way.
Dash Accessory Mount (Large) - I was considering the small one. But shipping was free on amazon for the large, not the small.. So it wasn't that much more, and I don't keep anything on my dash to worry about the space. I like it overall. Especially the no drill, no tape part. But, heavier items need to be on the middle section. since the sides are bolted or taped in, they bounce around a bit more if items hang off of them. I'm afraid the extra weight will also slowly bend the metal tabs. Need to get more mounting devices for it.
Mabett Engine Bay Wire Harness Bracket Kit - one of those things that pop up and just made things look good. Wasn’t so worried about the vacuum hose, but now it sure looks secure. After adding arb inflator, by power cables and switch were just kinda loosely hanging along the firewalll. It look so much better and supported now. Ford should have done this by default. i think it was a great idea. Glad I saw the new item posting on the forum.
B&M Sport Shifter - let’s make a fun manual transmission even better! Another mod, that isn't utilitarian…. Looking forward to enjoying my manual even more! Feels great. Comfortable. It’s a lot more like driving a big truck. All around great, and makes me feel Bronco is more customized for me. The bad: I got used to the position of the stock shifter, it was easy for me to hit the auto start/stop and turn on the cameras sitting in 1st gear with my finger. (Que the tiny violin šŸ˜). Now I’m looking for the button again, and I can’t just casually tap it like I used to. Definitely have to remove my had from the shift knob. Also, stock knob feels a little loose. Most likely I will pull it back off and stick some foam filler in the bottom to firm it up.
Auto Start Stop Eliminator - Pretty basic with what it does. Works, and I have that little bit if extra control the setting is going to be how I left it.
Metal Bezels in Black - link might not be the product. Friend picked them up I do like the little bit of glint it has, and metal just feels better than rubber. Easy to install and fits very snugly.
AutZom Sun Visor - Off brand vendor.. it totally fits well, and defiantly is keeping the heat down. (protecting my dash from fading/cracking). Came with a bag to store it in too.

Mod List - Exterior:
Ford Underhood ARB Twin Compressor kit - this sure beats my HF Pittsburgh. Mounts super solid. Kinda glad it came with the manifold for heat dissipation, and expansion ports…..
Yakima Size K LockNLoad Rack - It's been super helpful to keep the cab clear with long bulky items. Carrying my 10x10 popup and tent was a good start.
Yakima Crossbar Clamps - Same price everywhere. REI was local, and wanted them fast. lower profile than if I used the skyline towers, and wayyy cheaper. I won't be loading it much. But now I want a nice 270 awning since I have the platform....
Cheap T-slot Tiedown - needed it fast, got it next day. Fits fine
HarborFreight Cargo Net - yeah. $8 and gives me that little bit more security of what I have strapped down on the roof.
Ford Performance Winch and Mount - Wanted to take advantage of the lower price and discount code, and burn up some ford points. Waiting for a discount code for the cover next. I do wonder if ford is clearing them out for a new model that supports camera and sensor relocations. That would be my luck!
Ford Performance Winch Cover - Doesn't fit well. Not too compatible with Camera and bull bar. Going to see how much of a pain it is
Camera Relocate - Cheapest I could find, and I am just bolting this on the WARN license plate winch mount bracket. (so I am plate legal, and it's up higher in an attempt to maintain stock view)
Ford Bronco Spare Tire Reinforcement Kit - Should give me more weight capability on the spare, and when bouncing around on the rocks :)
Ford Performance Hood Lift Kit - Added the convenience of not needed the hood prop. It’s nice when airing up, and any engine work.
Aluminum Side Steps - These are nice and wide. Fits the stye pretty well. I like it attaches too the RockRail. For now.. we'll see if I end up need a full slider/step later...

Mod List - Accessories:
MORRFlate Quad: 4-Tire Hose Kit, Up to 125″ Wheelbase - Oh, I do like this... Usually easy to clip onto the valve stem. (I got one that seems to be a little more difficult to set right, thinking it's the tire/wheel). Air down is easy, no more squatting, checking, rechecking, no more dropping the valve steam needle and having your tire delate over it (it was comical). I did learn to carry extra AAA batteries, and remove them when done. Nothing as fun as airing up/down and not having a working pressure gauge (although the dashboard TPMS works as a backup)
Scuvers - quick seat protector. I’d rather have leather seats, but off-roading can get a little dirty, and the in and out will cause some extra wear, got this for quick deploy and remove. -Not the best. Pulls the head rest down when I get in, and I can't move it unless I get back out, because I am sitting on it. Wish it was longer to cover more of the lower part of the seat. Bonus, I use it as a sunshade since it covers most of the window. Now using an real windshield heat visor
Bluetti Charger 1 - been having some portable battery slow charge issues on longer weeks, and the cig lighter isn't keeping up (go figure). I am liking the idea of not having to worry about solar panels to boost power to Ecoflow River Pro power. Especially since I am wheeling in sunlight, and no so much solar when I setup camp. Amazon Prime was good enough deal to pick it up, and get my next project to work on. Could not have gotten these cables run through the firewall without my wife’s help. OMG, between cutting the grommet on both sides and both of us pushing and pulling.. Glad that’s over. Now to focus on the inside.
BulletPoint - Got rid of my current iPad holder, bounces around too much. But I really liked the location. Ordered enough parts to put it where I want it, and it stays put. Dash looks cleaner, too. Tablet holder and go pro mount, along with arms.
Ford Garage Door Storage Bags - this will just make it nicer to go door less and protect my doors When not using the, Vinyl is thick and bags are pretty nice. I like the padding at the bottom to protect them.
Future/Wishlist
Rear Cargo Rack - I want AAL flexdeck.. waiting to see if it will release.
rear shock slider armor
foglights/off-road lights
chaser lights
solid out shelf- want to see what BroAddict is coming out with for 2 door deck....
Rear roll bar mount products (competing ideas):
Cargo T and J hooks
Fire Extinguisher
Storage Bags
phone mount
270 awning
I'll keep adding things, I might add more miscellaneous things I take when camping, as I go through it and figure packing out.

Took a couple pics of the back since I installed the protector parts

Yes, my old front mats are now the rear floor mat. The Mabett rear at looked really neat... but it's for a 4-door. I'll figure something out later.

In case anyone with a 2-Dr wanted to know about the fit:

I did like how the sidewall protector wrapped about the cupholder next to the rear seat. It's kinda complimentary to the seats, and looks better over plastic, and any kids back there won't mess it all up! It would be really cool if I could get it on the same orange-ish stitching !!!

This was my first mod. So it's dirty (hit the trails before and after with it!!). Wanted to show how that flap goes over the door sill

Looks good! Didn't know they had the sidewall protectors for the 2 door. I'd like to see one for the tailgate too.

Top priority should be changing the shifter to a B&M - it completely changes your relationship with the Bronco.

Ha! I have been looking at that shifter since before I got my Bronco. :) At this point, I am glad I didn't since warranty work needed to fix a few things ...... It is on my wish list. I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about them. Might be a good winter project since my summer is getting full. I'll be out off-road/camping this weekend, and possibly the beach on the coast next weekend.

I made side protectors for the rear seat area so that my little dog wouldn’t be sliding all over the hard plastic when he was looking through the windows with his paws up near the glass.

Ok. This past weekend, got most of the install done on the Ford Perfomance ARB Twin. It’s in their really solid. Some install was a pain…. But I got it. Things to note 1) you will need acces to, or a crimper for battery ring terminals. This is for the 2 ARB hot cables and the ground. I ordered and got the crimper and lugs arrived today. Iā€˜ll add pics of battery side later. I’m really not sure why the ring terminals doesn’t come installed since it’s a Ford Kit. Woulda been a lot easier (and cheaper For me!) if they just just installed them. Well, I had to order a crimper and Battery ring terminal lugs. 2). Took me too long to figure out the firewall Material was covering where the bold would go on the bottom of the support bar. For in there with a razed and cut bits out. 3) More zip ties would be good.. I only have white ones. I’ll go pick up some more black ones. White just stands out too much. Ignore the engine dirt.. I do take it oufside of malls. šŸ˜

unboxing staging area. Haha!

This became my new work area. A lot was some through this side, Note: Turn the wheel out BEFORE disconnecting the battery and removing the DLCM. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøWhy do I always find this stuff out the hard way. Oh! And lots of dirt under that fender.. going to have to pull them all off and clean, especially since I was on an ocean beach…..

Added the Scuver. Don’t know why I thought it would come as a pair. Easy enough to move around to other seats though. Figured I’d see how it goes, then add another one if it works out well. I like the leather seats, so I don’t want them covered 24x7. Otherwise why buy them? (Well, besides thinking I’d have power seats, like in a 4-door, ) These covers seem to fit the bill for the occasional need. You do need to make sure it’s tucked up in place before getting in,, so you don’t pull the headrest forward and can’t really adjust when sitting on it. The non-slip backing works really well, once in place, it hasn’t been an issue.
Ford Bronco 2 Door MT SAS - Just logging what I be doing... IMG_0329

When it’s not in use, I’ve been using it as a makeshift sunshade. one less thing I need to have on hand. It detaches easiy from the headrest with a sliding clip. I am going to use it in the back seat next time I have to add a car seat in the hopes it will keep the indents to a minimum.

Grab handles Installed. So far, pretty out of the way. Really, only $11, can’t complain much. Granted, there are cooler looking ones, but these say the hold 200 lbs. Came packaged nicely with 2 alan wrenches. (I do wish they just used the torx. Less tools to keep handy). Stuck Alan wrenches into the Ford basic tool case. I was surprised the handles needed to be put together but that was easy. Kinda thought they’d just be one piece. There I go assuming again. Instructions were fine.

My usual staging area:

We will see if the skinnier handle fits my wife’s hands better than a round bar. I bet it will be easier for her to grab and hold on. Mounted, they are out of the way, and I don’t even notice them.

Hoolcar Hammock
Got behind. Am trying to use the postings to keep track of things as I add them!

This was supposed to be a 3-in-1 SunShade, cargo cover, hammock. It's not a hammock. Unless it's just for kids and you get MUCH nicer carabiners. Mine all stretched out, and one of the O-rings in the canvas is now an oval ring. Does make a nice sunshade. I am also using it to store some cushions and blanket to keep them out of the way. There is a pocket just above the driver.. that worked for me to but in the hand held radio! Made it a lot easier to hear above me, and grab to talk.

Photo shows front and the zipper pocket that gets access to unlock the front panels. Might have stretched that a little bit while experimenting with hammock concept.
Ford Bronco 2 Door MT SAS - Just logging what I be doing... DAC63A98-63FD-4A4C-AC4E-3519F592266B_1_102_o

Towards the rear. The closest pocket fit a handheld radio really well. That was a surprise bonus on the trail!
You can also see to the right I was able to use the bungie to connect to the grab handle instead of a metal hook that goes into one of the holes on top of the roll bar. I really didn't want to have a hook moving around in there, scratching up anything on the inside. If there even is paint or something protective on the inside....

Not happy I can't use it has a REALLY cheap hammock. But this works for everything else. And was a really inexpensive lightweight attic.... as long as I keep the top on!

Mountains to Metal Dash

After getting back from last wheelin' adventure. I received the Mountains to Metal Dash Rail. I was debating between the small and the Large size. I didn't see a need for the Large, but it would have room for growth. But the small really would cover all I needed. I could always upgrade later. (no drilling, no tape.. easy!). Searching for pricing, I found the large had free shipping on Amazon, but the small didn't. That brought the price a lot closer. since I don't use the dash for storage. I ended up just getting the large one.

(--UPDATE-- I removed this tablet stand, BulletPoint info down further in thread)

I took and old desk mount tablet stand. (I probably got it cheap at Fries eons ago). Found I could easily unscrew the desk mount part! Using the large washer I screwed it into the rail. At first I attached it to one of the extension on the far left, but I didn't like how the weight was a lever on it. It bouced a little much. and the metal rail flexed more than I would like. I then moved it to the middle section, where it is attached more securely (closer to the mount screw) So far so good. Gaia was ok on my last trip using carplay only. But it really misses a lot of features. Now I get my iPad maps back! Also, using carplay-my phone was really overheating.

Experimenting with velcro to hold it down, not plastic ties. I wanted to keep it a little flexible if I need to move it around for a passenger.

I'll route the cable better when I'm happy with the location. Now I need more mounts!
--And devices to clutter my dashboard.

I currently thinking I could mount a radio to the dash rail. It would be easy to see and hear, then I won't need a fancy removable faceplate, and be e a little more budget friendly.

So far I like it. Fits snuggly. Was great to take it off so I could move the tablet mount around and put it all back. I really like my iPad super handy. Now to figure out what else I need handy, I've got room for it!

Ford Performance Winch and Mount

Well, had to take advantage of the discounted price and 20% off. Burned up all my Ford Points.

Parts Lady wanted me to show up in a truck or bring a trailer so they could give me the pallet. I was how the heck?? Well, they got it in a 4-door Bronco once... It won't fit in a 2Door. (or the other car)

Well, let's unbox it. I know there are boxes in the inside, kind of like the Ford ARB kit! I'll just take the boxes from the inside. "Ok, we can do that. I think we did that once before, but it's heavy" They had 3 other winches waiting to get picked up. And mine was behind them all! Well, we opened the boxes. Took out all the inside boxes, and they fit totally find in a 2Door! The heaviest was just the winch itself. It kinda looked like she thought the winch and mount would still be in one box.

Even kept the rear seats up!

That long skinny box was attached outside of it. It just holds the Fairlead. I am thinking it was packed that way so it wouldn't get lost. According to Ford Parts, it's a Factor55.

Boxes have some dates on them, it does kinda feel like Ford is trying to get some space back?

Part Number 107215
Description WINCH ZEON 10 12V SY
Date: 02/01/22

Not sure when I will get it installed. Still sourcing extensions for sensors and front camera relocation.

Slacked on updates. Need to spool it out, add hook. Use the Rough County Extensions and Chon's sensor mounts. Also need to run camera and washer cable. Mounted camera onto the warn license plate. I just drilled a couple holes in it to mount the relocate bracket.

ACC works fine. Sensors have no issues. Pretty nice and easy really.

I also think I installed the camera relocate bracket backwards, so it wouldn't stick so far out past the license plate.
