So, I've been trolling around for a couple months trying to decide what to so. 1.25” Wheel spacers on stock beadlocks or buy some cheap 0 offset 17x9s before replacing the junk Goodyears?
Well, my decision was made easier when I found a local FB Marketplace listing for 17x9 Rocktrix RT112 with +12 specific for Bronco/Ranger and no need for hub centering rings for a bargain basement set of 5 for $450.
I went back and forth on Falkens, Toyos, or Nittos and between 35x12.5 or 11.5s. Ford's buy 3 get 1 for $1 sale that ends tomorrow had me checking all the options and prices. An old highschool friend works in parts at one of my local dealers, so we caught up on life while he checked stock on all the available sizes we could get before the sale ends tomorrow. Well...half hour later we settled on Nitto Recon Grapplers in 35x11.5s.
Long story longer... I was worried an 11.5 would look narrow on 9 wides, but I'm here to say I am SO glad I jumped on the 11.5! I think they fit perfectly with these +12 offsets and the stock Squatch flares! These tires are so much quieter and smoother riding than the 35k Goodyears!
I do have a 1.5" Readylift level kit mixed with a Rough Country 1" kit (used the upper spacer from the Readylift kit on the rears and the upper spacers from the Rough Country kit (2 per side) on the front as they are about 1/8 thinner than the single Readylift upper. Then I used the lower spacer from the Readylift kit up front as well. It netted a 1/2" higher rear height unloaded at 40 1/4 to the bottom of the flare and 39 3/4 on the front.
I'm ecstatic with how it looks considering I have right at $2k in everything. Just what I wanted for my 90% highway/mall crawler and 10% sand/mud/trail usage here in Northern Indiana!
