Thinking about getting an Auxbeam. Those of you that have it, would you recommend the 4 or 6? I am leaning with the 4 because I don't plan on adding much besides some lights and possibly a compressor in the future. My thinking is if I need to remove it due ( I do plan on keeping this vehicle for a while) whatever may arise, I can install it on my quad. What do you guys think for those of you that may have purchased either one of these?

I asked the same question when I first started out on my Bronco, and the advice was "get as many as you can fit - they will get used eventually". I couldn't really see beyond using 3 or 4 either. The logic was - empty switches won't hurt anything, but if you run out and need to add more it's a pretty big pain.

So I installed 8 switches. I'm using 7 of them today.

I was thinking the same thing. Kind of like the shed question. "What size shed to get?" Well, always go with the larger one because it is going to get filled up.

If it were us, we’d honestly lean toward going bigger upfront if the budget allows. It’s one of those things where you think “I’ll only need 3-4 circuits” and then suddenly you’re adding ditch lights, chase lights, compressor, rock lights, grille lights, fridge power, etc. and the panel fills up FAST.

We’ve had really good feedback on the Trigger systems we carry as well, especially for clean installs and easy wireless control. The Trigger 4 Shooter works well for simpler setups, but the 6 Shooter tends to be the sweet spot for most Bronco builds once the mods start snowballing a bit.

Also worth mentioning for forum members, you can use code BRONCO10 on our site for a discount if you end up going that route.

Use the 8th switch for your new secondary aux panel!

I've almost used it a bunch of times... but it's survived being a spare for a while now. I have plans for it to be my chase lights when/if I ever get around to installing a set.

Almost burned it for my Starlink, but decided to use the Powerpoint timer for that instead - my switches all are only hot with ACC On, and I wanted Starlink to stay on for a while with the vehicle off. Powerpoint timer worked great for that. I

I do have plans that I could consolidate a pair of light sets and free up a switch if I had to.

Damn dude, the more I learn how much stuff you've got equipped, the more I want to remove my terminal block & use that relay set up that you have.

Im wanting to throw lights on the left & right side for full area coverage; thinking that might be the way to go.

More circuits better than less circuits.

I really love the Garmin PowerSwitch and the @Blaze Off-Road bracket comes with ground bus and cables, making it really slick. They were also able to provide specific length cables for my Gen2 @genesisoffroad dual battery setup.

With the Garmin PowerSwitch, there are no wires to run inside car, you can use your phone to control it, it shows as an app in CarPlay so you can use the infotainment screen to control it, but also can use a bunch of available Garmin devices, or push the buttons on the device itself. You can configure groups for the circuits, do strobe and momentary as well. Does not require ignition to be powered on. If you could find a place to mount multiple devices, it can manage up to four of those suckers.

I thought I'd never use just the 6 factory AUX. Then I got a lighting bundle that uses 3 switches and suddenly I was worried I'd not have enough.

I did the same thing with my fog/driving light bundle. I also used one for the onboard compressor. Now, I need one for my ham radio and will only have one Aux switch left. I don't plan to add anything else but I still have one if I do think of something.
