Has anyone purchased the factory accessory switch (M2DZ13D730CB) and used the rear/front diff lock/sway bar uncouple toggles for lighting? Does the non gee'd out version have the same wiring harness to easily get lights into the engine bay? Looked at so many broncos I missed that our lux package OB did not come standard w/upfitter switches...Watching youtube it'd be a mother to install them.

Those are the hero switches. The require integration with a module and all of the other necessary hardware to work. They won't work with lighting, there is no relays in them or anything like that.

If you want the upfitter/aux switches, you're probably looking at getting this guy.

I'd wonder if the plugs were the same and you wouldn't lose access to what's there. I'd either do what @RagnarKon is suggesting (installing the overhead accessory switches), or perhaps seeing if you can get a 3D printed switch insert custom made to fit in that block and drill a hole in the bottom of the switch block you have and run wiring to that. The latter would be more complicated but could be fun if you're into that kinda thing.

The factory upfitter kit is definitely the most OEM-style solution if you're looking to add dedicated circuits. Another option to consider is a wireless controller system like our Bronco-specific Trigger Controller Kits. It allows you to control multiple accessories from your phone without having to run switch wiring into the cabin. Depending on how many accessories you're planning to add, it may be worth looking into as an alternative!
