Welp that intrepid just came on the list. Can you close it with bedding (down bedding so highly compressible)?
Yeah you can, I actually run normal bedding too so a comforter, blankets and 4 normal pillows and it'll close! Sometimes end up with a little hump where the hinge piece is or the seal not being quite flush at the back but Ive had no issues with water getting in. I think with down bedding it'd close flush most likely.

It's a great tent, find there's a bit more condensation than my old one but a quick wipe in the morning sorts it.

Mini build update/excuse to post a pic!

Took the Bronco out to Ghost Falls here in Alberta last week and really enjoyed it! First time in the snow with the Wildpeaks and they were great at around 12psi had no issues climbing out of the river crossings where most others I saw were losing traction.

The FrontRunner table needs some work though, over bigger bumps it's knocking loudly so once I'm back from work I'll look into that. Sounds like it's the chopping board so hoping I can just add some foam/tape to the mount where it's contacting to fix that.

Got a CBI Baja Hybrid bumper and Warn winch on order, hoping to see those in Feb/Mar time ready for some more adventures in 2026.
Other than that, I got the engine valve and shock recalls sorted last week with no issues.

Well, I finally got the bumper fitted...

After taking a little longer than expected from CBI my bumper showed up mid April for powder coating locally prior to fitting.

Painted up and fitted the bumper looks great and I'm super happy with the quality and design. Got some Baja Designs lights in yellow to compliment the new install. Fogs on Aux 1 and Combo/Driving on Aux 2. These make a massive difference at night given the Bronco stock lights aren't the best..
Yet to use the winch, but I have some rougher trips planned which will definitely test the capabilities a little more than my most recent riding trip.

Additionally, the shop had a set of Icon coilovers that were lightly used on a staff truck that were far too cheap to pass up on, so I'm now running Icon CDCV's. These are a massive improvement over the stock HOSS 2.0 both on and off road in my experience so far. I've seen there's been a few issues with sway bar contact but have the brackets for relocation on order so will be sorting that asap.

Everything else still working well and I'm up to over 30k km since purchase. No big plans in future but just to keep enjoying it! Maybe a swingout for the bike rack but we'll see..
