I know it fits a 2 door quite well... My main reason for getting this was that it tucks up so nicely on my 2 door.... Now I am running a 2.7 auto.... BUT the muffler is exactly the same...

Ripped off the Roush axle back and got the MRT Elite installed on the Bronco today and I love it! No more rattling house windows or droning at highway speed. What a difference. Like somebody else said, you hear your tires more than you do the muffler - until you step on it.

What's the opinion on cutting off the extra hanger rod when installing the Elite series on a 2.7L? I received my order yesterday and took the time to do the install. I agree with most, that the hardest part was releasing the old muffler from the rubber hangers. This was done on a 2021 First Edition.

I left mine on as it was easier to install with extra leverage, but I don’t think it’s necessary. The question is are you gonna remove the hanger for the drivers side that is not used anymore. I left mine jic.

The extra hanger was a nice grip to align things while I tightened everything up... Then cut it off.

I bit the bullet and bought one. The difference in sound is huge! I can’t speak for everyone in saying it’s worth the $600 if you already have something like the Steeda, but if the drone or loudness of the Steeda bothers you at all, I can safely say the MRT is much quieter and all but eliminates the drone, while still having a nice sound/growl to it.
