I pulled off the road and took a pic when this popped up. After reserching navigation switched to Chinese. No clue how it happened the setting were not touched. So, what did I do with my Bronco today? I learned it can do Chinese!

Installed Broaddict traildeck replacing Everglades Ford deck. It's a nice upgrade for convenience and storage. Looking forward to testing out on July trip to CO.

Where did you get the foam? I need to do that to mine at least for the spare tie rods that keep turning and catching on the ribs.

Removed fender flares for the first time; over a year and 9,500 miles.

'had a handful of gravel and sand rattling around up in the flares from the past year of easiesh trails from Bishop (CA) to Baker (WA).

Cleaned them and the interfacing fender surfaces well, used 303 on the flares and clips with several coats of wax on the exposed fender surfaces before reassembling them:

I may do this more often -- crud built up in the fasteners making it hard to pull the flares off.

One of the spring clip things had hardened mud under the spring features and couldn't spring open to clear... making it rip out of the plastic flare and stay in the metal hole of the fender when I removed the flare.

I thought I read a post here recently by someone asking if there were any bolt or screw mods for attaching the flares. They've got a good point with things like this below (this is AFTER I cleaned it well with a toothbrush and 303):

I'm betting if you flush that area really well with water prior to disassembly, it will come apart much easier.

Yeah, I did my usual half-ass job of hosing the main area under the flares, but didn't get it too well, like to the narrow places of those open cylindrical areas by the turn tabs.

I now have another 1/4 pound of dirt from 3 states out on the driveway, .

Quick DIY soft shackle, 60 second job.

'had some 20-year-old 1/2 inch sailing line (the good braided stuff), and tied this shackle.

I'll count on it to have:
30 lb Working Load
35 lb Ultimate Breaking
:inspect:

Probably stronger, but the line is over 20 years old .... what the heck, something to play around with.

Maybe I'll test it and post the results.

I finally got a bike rack that would carry 2 ebikes. I also made some changes in my audio DSP tune. I saw a post where the OP used AI to refine his turn on the B&O system. I decided to try it and the recommended changes made a huge difference in the sound quality. Before I started I made Geminis mandatory Forscan change. These changes were way different than what I had seen before. Thanks to the OP that recommended using AI.

Open FORScan and write these exact codes to clear the factory processing:

727-01-01: Change to 0000-0000-006A (This strips away the internal Ford crossovers, ensuring a completely unified, full-range signal leaves the radio chassis on the factory wires).

727-01-02: Change to 00xx-xxxx-xxxx (This safely turns off the factory EQ contouring and removes the rear pod filter, matching your new setup).
