I love how everyone is going back and forth over will it be 385hp, or 418 etc. NO ONE here knows. They say specific tuning that "makes big power" but isn't as dramatic about it. For all we know that could mean they just went with a standard exhaust instead of the far more aggressive raptor active exhaust. One thing is for sure- it will have the same HP as an existing 3.0L in the lineup. Ford is not paying millions of dollars to EPA re-certify a different HP rating.

Get a tune and higher offset wheels. Boom. RTR wide-track Filson. But without the grille with hockey-stick shaped lights that match zero of the bronco lines and look completely out of place.
This makes absolutely ZERO sense. The upgrades made on the Filson seems to be the most standout changes and upgrades than any other vehicle even made in the bronco lineup except the raptor. It isn't a tune and wheels...

Ford should have put the 3.0 in the 4 door Stroppe instead of into an over the top luxury model.
Ford should have put the 3.0L in the 2-door Stroppe. Then it would have commanded a price closer to its high MSRP.

Because it’s a neo-lifestyle purchase not necessarily function specific. This has been an ever growing trend of marketing anymore, exploded by Covid. Everyone buys into the ā€œfreedom of offroadā€ just because it’s cool not because they actually do it. The Raptor line is a big part of that too. 80% of the customer bases don’t offroad their vehicles. When I sat in a marketing survey for GM they had the same conclusion based on customer data. They do it because people think it’s cool, that’s about it. If one or two Filson owners hit the trails it doesn’t matter. I’m just glad they’re finally doing cooled seats. That’s been my biggest gripe.
Seriously: How many people got the SAS just because they can call their bronco the BADSQUATCH. Lol. No judgement but yeah.

I never got on the hamster wheel of chasing that new car smell every 2-3 years. I don’t buy much stuff, though, just a few really nice things that last and I enjoy. Here’s to everyone finding what they want.

I am doubtful that the Filson ever actually makes it to market.

It's super nice but I'll stick to my nearly paid off black diamond poor person slop wagon!

Amen. I see some pristine Bronco Sasquatches and Raptors in the Trader Joe’s parking garage and entering/exiting the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. Filson trim just reflecting the actual use case for 4x4s that cost $80,000.

Umm, no one? Says this BadSas owner. I got it because I needed the capability and didn’t want to do aftermarket work at an untrusted shop outside the warranty. I was totally unfamiliar with all the Sasquatch lore and iconography (and I’m still not sure I get it).

The missing 4A on the GOAT dial discovered when the media showed off the two Filson rigs at the reveal is attributed to "pre-production" mules. The one rig had the correct GOAT dial while the other did not. It was a sloppy oversight. But seeing as the Sasquatch package is standard and Ford has never offered the Sasquatch package without the 4A transfer case, the mule with the missing 4A on the GOAT dial was just an oversight.

Filson saw a significant profile boost and revenue bump due to the show Yellowstone, thanks to multiple characters wearing their jackets. Ford was probably paying attention.
