Here are some pics of the frame rails.

Bronco (Top) vs. F150 (Bottom) - quite a big difference
Do the mounting holes line up? Or did you have to drill something out?
Very cool project though!

They don’t. The thought is to swap the rails from the Bronco to the F150 seat. Gonna have to weld them more than likely.

If you swap a seat with memory... Would the memory feature work?

🤔

Really confused as why Bronco doesn't have this OLD AF feature.

Unlikely
The Broncos seat module wouldn’t have the logic built in to save or remember specific seat positions.

Wash out feature plus an electric motor is a bad idea.
My wife's Sahara with HEEPs luxury package is a manual seat. (Although leather).
I assume because they are also based around wash out features.

But doesn't the leather optioned power seats have electric motors/modules?

Memory seating is so old... Some additional buttons on the damn chair itself would've been simple.

At first I heard covid-19 chips were to blame, but now? Even the 2025 OBX leather seat loaner I'm using doesn't have them... But the interior of the cabin has gotten MUCH QUIETER. The windshield also has "soundscreen" on it.

I thought I really wanted the 2025 gauges, but after time with them, it's eh... I appreciate the quieter cabin, rear vents, and better hard top more.

Brackets are complete and the F-150 seat is officially installed. Need more seat time to make my final verdict, but early impressions are very positive. A local fabricator took his time designing these and he has the file saved if anyone wants to replicate. That said, you’ll still need someone to weld the brackets together and install the seat. PM me if you want his info and phone number.

Here are some pics of the completed install. Sorry my Bronco is filthy and the F150 seat needs a deep clean, so I apologize in advance 😄

All of the seat functions work except for the heated seat. This F150 seat has it, so not sure if the element is toast or there's a wiring issue. The seat was damaged when I received it and the fabricator had to invest time fixing it, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the seat. I live in the south, so not a huge deal but wanted to mention it.

Additionally, I plan to put together a video to talk more about it.

Very cool writeup, I am lookign to do the same thing, shopping around for seats now.
In the post with the wiring diagrams fro the Bronco and F150 I didnt see anything about the heated seat wire, I assume it is in the same connector?

Interesting. I’m 6’2”, 34” inseam. Never experienced any issues with the Bronco seats. My 18 F150 Lariat did have some nice comfy seats though. Now my old Gladiator seats are a different story. They were brutal.
A lot depends on how much of your extra height is legs vs. torso. I'm only 5'11", but I still run into a lot of problems with some vehicles, with the seats not fitting my body thanks to my unusually long torso. I'm almost always the tallest person in the room when we're all sitting down.

I'm 6'5" and 230, so I get your pain. I'm about 50/50 proportioned though so that helps.

Your thread, however, reminded me of the surgery I had to do on my first car -- a '79 Chevy Luv with manual. In order to get in the thing, my dad and I had to remount the seat back as far as we could manage. Still was a tight fit.
