Its in the final stages of testing. We had to have a new seal made. Fingers crossed, next 30 days. No pricing yet. Should know more next week at our monthly meeting.
Anything else cooking or just that moon panel?

Yes. We are getting ready to release our JL Hardtop with an integrated tent. New Bronco hardtop with integrated tent will be next. No pricing, no eta yet. But prototype is being built.

What are the odds of building just a one piece 4 door top?

It has been talked about, but nothing set in stone. Honestly if we did decide to do it, it would be at least a year to year and half. We would have to make a completely different mold. Not to mention shipping on a 1 piece top is a lot harder and way more expensive. We have a lot of other hardtop projects to work on before that 1 piece.

Hi all. A couple years back I ordered the unpainted version and found a shop that put the perfect white gelcoat on it.

Love the top.
2 questions….
—Sometimes when it rains I get leakage through the back window. Is there a fix here?
—that rusted the bolts that attach the top to the truck. They were so stuck that I stripped them to get them out. Can I order new bolts? Maybe this is a Todd question?

Is this something you'd recommend V1 hard top owners to replace, even if leaks were resolved via window adjustment? Looking at mine at over a year of ownership, the existing seal is compressed, but holding well. It's the seal at the tailgate portion that tends to leak onto the interior side of the door periodically.

The seal that I am talking about is the seal that goes between the glass and the rear tailgate. Maybe I missed the OP's original issue.

If you are getting water down the backside of the tailgate the V2 seal will fix the issue.

I'm thinking I mis-understood the issue. Please send some photos of the locations of water entry to [email protected] so that we can troubleshoot your issue. If the top was painted its likely that the gaskets may have been installed incorrectly after they were removed for paint.

Question for the thread….How do you guys take off the top and store it? I didn’t want to bother my wife with lifting and carrying the back piece so I got a Liftngo. The Liftngo is made for the OEM top so I hung 2 heavy-duty straps and rolled the top in the garage.

But….I’m a little nervous about it’s hanging!

And thank you Todd. You’re the best. I’ll email you pics and we can go from there.

Does anyone with a Turn Off-road top know if any of the mesh bikini tops will work with the hard top in place? If so, which brand will work. Thanks
