Well that's seriously unfortunate. So what would I have to do to mount a transmission cooler? Would I need to get rid of the original heat exchanger and use the thermal bypass valve I showed earlier?
You’d likely need to do something like Mustang owners do and install fittings on the transmission in/out ports so you can run lines to a cooler. I’m not sure what you can do to make use of the heat exchanger at that point, but since the bypass valve appears to recirculate the fluid until the temperature set point it wouldn’t really be needed anyways. I don’t have much guidance for you otherwise though as I’ve stuck with OEM solutions in the past

I've mentioned this before on another thread but will repeat it here. I put a 16in pusher fan on the front of my ac condenser with those push threw mounting cables that came with the fan. The fan control is connected to a upfitter switch. With the combination of ac on with the pusher fan the coolant temps. stay around 200dg. I had to trim the top and bottom of the fan shroud to get it to fit but worth the work.

This pretty much fixes the coolant issue especially when slow going or idling when stopped. I need to add that keeping the coolant temps down does help the trans temps but in my opinion the trans defiantly needs a better cooling setup

Hey, about this: I've got some poor air conditioning performance, and 5 different trips to the dealership for warranty repairs and replacing LP+HP sensors and the whole compressor have resulted in no noticeable improvement. Do you think your AC got any stronger after installing that fan?
