You’d likely need to do something like Mustang owners do and install fittings on the transmission in/out ports so you can run lines to a cooler. I’m not sure what you can do to make use of the heat exchanger at that point, but since the bypass valve appears to recirculate the fluid until the temperature set point it wouldn’t really be needed anyways. I don’t have much guidance for you otherwise though as I’ve stuck with OEM solutions in the pastWell that's seriously unfortunate. So what would I have to do to mount a transmission cooler? Would I need to get rid of the original heat exchanger and use the thermal bypass valve I showed earlier?
