Damn, I believe that was the size I was looking at.

It's mostly the fact that you can stand up in it that makes it so large I think. I normally use a dome, but as I get older and my knees get worse, a taller, more comfy design is desirable.

How many folks you sleeping with in that thing?!
Supposedly a 3-man tent.

It could do two on cots and just be slightly cramped. 3 on the ground.

But yeah, you can stand up in it, it has a square floor with doors on either end, and it pops up and takes down in about 30 seconds

Yep, I was impressed how fast it set up & broke down, but man does it take a good bit of space to pack

I have a T4 and a T8. The T4 is my go-to when it's just the wife and I, maybe one of the (now grown) kids.
The T8 is not "much" heavier/larger when packed up. But man, it takes a bit more thinking to get it set up and taken down the right way. Still uber-fast for as large as it is (2X the footprint of the T4).

And yeah, I store either on top of the Bronco with those very-handy Saddles AAL sells.
Sleeper Keeper - Large Tent Mount - American Adventure Lab

I prefer the lighter T4 for that chore. It is almost more than 1 person wants to do while balancing.

I'm thinking I'll sell the T8. With the kids grown and no real need for it (used it less than a dozen times).
