Need advice on Hard top small crack repair. These have only been removed once and stored for a year. Had a sky rider so I never bothered to put them back on. Took them out of the bag to ceramic coat and found this crack after coating. Zero clue how it got there. Very possible it was there from day one.
Looking to see about fixing it. What would be a good solution.

I'd try epoxy a little plastic support onto the back of that if there is clearance. Use a clamp or pressure until it sets to hold the crack closed, and then touch it up with a little paint.

Be very careful with plastics and epoxies. Many absolutely won't bond to many types of plastic. I would lean toward a small custom aluminum reinforcement. As with painting, prep matters immensely. Things need to be very clean (solvent and spotless rags) before bonding.

I agree with Brian_B…..try to get a small amount of epoxy inside the crack when adding the plastic support piece and epoxy on backside/inside. Finding a good method to clamp it together tight until dry will be the most important step.

if going the glue route, if someone lets me know the type of plastic, I can provide the right stuff to use.
