Bronco Raptors Being Taken for Granite - Near Bald Mountain

Short segment of a trip to Bald Mountain area in Sierras. This is a cool little spur that took us for fun loop with great views On the way to the fire lookout. So nice I did it twice.

I thought the old school “wink” two posts up would have cleared up the uncertainty around this pressing social issue of “did he know or not?”.

As events continued to unfold it has become apparent that my lack of clarity has resulted in ongoing consternation within this thread, I will seek to remove any doubt as to my intentions with following prepared statement.

”I knew exactly what I was doing when I titled the post and the video as “granite” vs “granted”. I thought it was funnier as an unexplained joke. Apparently my actions were reckless due the lack of comprehensive explanations as to my intent. I will footnote any future puns or play on words to avoid confusion (I won’t, I lied there).”

Phew! I thought this post would gather comments like “great scenery” or “the doofus in the green raptor should air down more” or “I could out wheel thesejokers in my daughter’s 2006 Prius”. life is full of surprises.

Didn't see your follow-up. I was just reacting to monsterfd's post somehow suggesting I didn't get the joke from the original post. My original point was that I figured you used "granite" intentionally, but enough people say it wrong that it's worth your while to make it clear you know the right way, otherwise people might assume that for "all intensive purposes" you don't. I think we can "nip it in the butt" and call this a "moot point."
