  1. Order a new Toyota Tacoma, it's an eerily similar experience. (And, no, I did not.)

While there are some similarities, the Bronco release is in a league of it's own.
  2. Who Gets What? Is Ford treating all orders the same?

When 200,000 of us placed our reservations, Ford told us they would be built in order of reservation timestamp. That is no longer the case. Plan to be patient for your Bronco. I made a reservation in October of 2020, ordered and reordered as soon as I could each model year. Other then...
  3. Dealership forgot to place my order the entire time

I would for sure order elsewhere. I can make an excuse for one mistake which can happen anywhere, but having multiple misques is a bad sign of a poorly run operation. I would take this as a good opportunity to explore other dealerships. I agree with others though, you were unlikely to see...
  4. Turned 70 and still waiting. Can I bequeath my reservation if I don't make it?

It's starting to feel to me like ordering a Bronco is like saving for retirement. Something that you plan for and hope that it pays off a long time into the future.
  5. Losing patience

I have an October 2020 reservation, ordered and reordered as soon as I could and haven't heard anything. I ordered a Jeep Wrangler in January which will be built this month and anticipated to be delivered next month as a stop gap vehicle. It may end up being more than that. In case you...
  6. Email from Granger

I'm with Granger and didn't receive the email. I placed my order and intend to wait it out.
  7. Ford changed my MSRP price

You should ask your dealer. I heard that there would be a mid-year price increase due to inflation.
  8. Ford says it will NOT ALLOW order transfers anymore

I'm not surprised. One message coming from the leadership to appease the public and shareholders while only a thousand or so of us left to wait who know better. Yes, I want a Bronco, but I'm honestly not very impressed with either the soft or hard tops and hope that they address the...
  9. * resolved* Dealer Selling Price

Do you have a written sales agreement?
  10. The Mid-March Update from Granger Ford

I'm looking at 3 years with the Grangtober special. I ordered a Jeep Wrangler in January and hoping for delivery this spring.
  11. Stupid question - has my Bronco even been ordered?

You can contact Ford Customer Service and ask if the order was placed.
  12. Cancelling an Order

Just contact the dealer that you want to cancel with. They don't have access to your other reservation.
  13. Price protection - my apologies for asking ...

It's both. Order or reservation before that date.
  14. The Mid-March Update from Granger Ford

If price protection is still a thing for us, it will be quite a deal.
  15. Does chip shortage = higher Base model build rate?

That would guarantee that my 2022 Wrangler is not an in between vehicle if that happens. I honestly don't believe that they'd do that. We will just have to wait longer for our vehicle.
  16. Dealer lost my order

Thats an interesting use of words from the dealer that raises red flags for me. Hopefully you will see your Bronco in the next year.
  17. Does chip shortage = higher Base model build rate?

Not necessarily. I recall a statement from the Ford CEO to shareholders several months ago stating that profits would be optimized, not units produced. Don't ask me to dive any deeper into it but I'm sure it's somehow built into their scheduling formula. Optimizing profits keeps shareholders...
  18. Dealer lost my order

"It will have someone else's name attached to the order"......this brings up so many questions. Is this what happened to your order? Did it come in and get sold to someone else? Did the person cancel the order that you're taking over?
  19. 2022 4 DR BRONCO BADLANDS ORDER

Congratulations. Enjoy your Badlands when it comes. Now go out and buy a lottery ticket.
